Incredible Curiosity Reasons are Excuses Reason being reasonable enough to fit the reason shaped hole in mind doesn't necessarily make it a good reason.

My manager paid ₹1.5 crore for a 21th floor flat. He sold it after 4 years. Yesterday he told me everything. And he was ANGRY. High-rise flat owners will NOT want to read this. Reason 1 /13 They told me higher floors have no mosquitoes. Biggest scam ever.
Chandana 🌻✨@RoseOnX9

Do people living on the 15th floor and above actually enjoy living in a high-rise apartment? Or are we all just paying extra for a better Instagram view?

@RoseOnX9 The electricity wire length increasing resistance, reason has shocked me. It is indeed true, and something that one could've never have imagined unless they've experienced it. Most of the reasons are true

Reason 11 My ground floor colleague runs the same AC. Pays less electricity. Electric meters are in the basement. Longer wire = higher resistance = more power lost in the wire itself = higher bill. Same appliances. Same usage. Different bill. Every month. For years.

Unfathomably based move by CM Suvendu. Indian politics has spent years arguing over eggs in mid-day meals while handing poor workers the saddest carb-maxxed thalis imaginable. He has gone ahead and announced actual fish-and-rice for just 5 rupees. In one of the most protein-deficient populations on earth, this is the kind of welfare intervention that actually moves the needle. Every other state should be copying this and serving fish-rice or chicken-roti as standard subsidized meals for the poor.

🚨 West Bengal CM Suvendu Adhikari has announced the launch of fish-and-rice meals for ₹5 at 400 state-run canteens.

The only jobs that should be automated should be these ones. Most ATS are now quite mature & you don't need full time TA people 20-25 LPA for word matching in resume, email/calling candidates in a world where FAANG SDE jobs being cut is ridiculous

If Vedant Agarwal's parents followed laws, the likelihood of him following was also high. His parents were least bothered about law. Evident from giving a luxury car to minor son to drive rashly that too after consuming liquor. Not only that, even professional criminals may not do what they did post accident from bribing top doctors to swap blood samples to kidnapping and threatening the driver. The only way to try influencing the next generation is leading by example.

This is absolute madness! The student’s answer is 100% correct and matches the official marking scheme word-for-word, yet they scored 0.5 out of 3? This completely validates the claim that unqualified staff are evaluating papers. @narendramodi @cbseindia29 @dpradhanbjp #OSM

30 years ago, I went to a village in the outskirts of Salem, while washing my hand in a public tap , I found worms in the water, then i came to know that people in that village used this water for drinking and cooking. When I climbed the tank I saw a cesspool inside. Dead cats, crows, slippers, bottles etc. the tank had no lid. It was a 30000 ltr over head drinking water tank. There were 3 other tanks in the same village, each was worse than the other. Spoke to the village president, he expressed his helplessness. Then I approached the BDO ( Block development officer) he said every panchayat gets funds it's upto them to do the cleaning , everyone in the bureaucracy was driving me from pillar to post just to clean the tank in public interest People of course were expecting others to do the cleaning. So as a trial I got permission from the village president to clean the tank , i employed few boys to do the job. These water tanks were not cleaned for many many years before that. While cleaning 🧹 we removed one feet thick of black sediments from each tank. Then we gave a coat of white cement inside, and put a lid where it was missing. The response from the people was overwhelming, the word spread and village after village invited us to get the water tanks cleaned. In each tank we painted the last cleaned date, this became a trend, every three months I sent my boys to clean the tanks. At one stage we were serving over 150 villages in Salem district, we did this service for 12 years and ensured every village got clean potable drinking water If serving people is politics so be it

The craziest cope which the lower middle class in India have about the rich kids is that they are not doing anything in life on their own. Majority of my friends from school with a family net worth of 100cr+ enjoyed their 18-20s to the fullest. Now they work to expand their family business. Absolutely killers and I’ve seen their work ethic go from absolute dogshit to hormozi level in the last 2 years. Those who didn’t join the family business are now either working for a MNC pulling an insane salary and already planning on starting their own firm or they are disgustingly educated to the point of fulfilment. The few who pursued their hobbies whether it be dancing, painting, or even squash are now living their best lives and are able to make good money off it. Only a very small section of the kids ended up not doing anything in life, almost the same number of the lower & upper middle class. The truth is, a rich family puts you in a spot where hard work comes naturally. There is of course a lot of financial support and a head start but at the same time it cannot be used to discredit the work they put in.

In the early 1700s, a tiny, cash-strapped theological school called the Collegiate School of Connecticut was on the verge of financial collapse. It desperately needed money to construct its very 1st permanent building in New Haven. The school's trustees reached out to a wealthy London merchant named Elihu Yale. Yale had spent nearly 30 yrs working for the East India Company at Fort St. George in Madras (now Chennai) looting India & eventually rising to become the Governor-President of the settlement. While in India, Elihu Yale amassed an immense personal fortune through private trading: specifically in Golconda diamonds, high-grade textiles & spices & by participating in the Indian Ocean slave trade. He was eventually ousted from his post by the East India Company for rampant illegal profiteering & corruption. In 1718, responding to the school's plea for help, Elihu Yale sent a massive cargo shipment from London to Boston. The shipment did not contain cash. It contained: - 9 large bundles of exotic Indian textiles (including fine muslins, calicos & silks from Madras). - 417 books. - A portrait of King George I. The school sold the Indian textiles & goods in Boston for the staggering sum of £800, which at the time, was enough money to completely fund the construction of their brand-new wooden college building. In pure gratitude for this South Asian windfall, the trustees officially renamed the entire institution Yale College. Yale University would literally not exist w/o India. Its very name, its 1st major building & its foundational survival were directly paid for by wealth extracted from India.
