The Tamil Nadu government has dismissed reports claiming that the #Koyambedu bus terminus land is going to be given to the #Lulu Group for building their mall, declaring the information false & urged the public not to believe or spread these rumors. TN Minister @PKSekarbabu hinted few weeks ago that a big thing is being planned on the land parcel where the Koyambedu bus terminus currently sits & will be revealed shortly by the CM. Notably CMDA earlier appointed Cushman & Wakefield, the globally renowned real estate consulting firm, to study the possibilities of better utilisation of the Koyambedu wholesale market complex land. The firm suggested to shift the wholesale market to Thirumazhisai & transform the place with swanky office spaces, retail mall, multipurpose sport facilities along with public parks & recreation facilities. In our opinion, TN’s new secretariat complex might get its place in Koyambedu after shifting the entire bus operations to #Kilambakkam & #Kuthambakkam and also after shifting the Koyambedu wholesale market to #Thirumazhisai. It’s just our speculation, as the place would be a perfect fit with its location & connectivity advantages. Will have to wait & see.
A man filmed the women of his own family while they were bathing and stored the videos on Google Drive. Google detected the suspected abusive content and alerted Indian authorities, leading to his arrest. I’m convinced that many of the anonymous accounts that spend their days abusing women on social media are doing the same to the women in their own families. Anonymity gives people the confidence to become criminals.
