This might be one of the most ambitious indie RPGs I've seen in a while 👀 One of the games launching on @loadoutprotocol that I'm most excited about is The Last Worlds: Crossed Souls by @lupiostudios It's a Story driven Open world Action RPG set on the alien planet NESS-444 One thing I love in games is solving mysteries, completing the story and uncovering the truth. That's exactly why this game interests me The idea of exploring NESS-444, solving environmental puzzles, uncovering Matwin and Lupio's past, and discovering what caused the planet's ruin is what makes me even more excited for this game What makes it even more interesting is that the developers have openly shared they're inspired by The Legend of Zelda, Dragon Quest, Monster Hunter and Pokémon Instead of following one formula they're blending ideas from all of them while creating their own original IP You'll explore a brand new world, fight in real time combat, craft gear, tame creatures called Nessky, switch between 2 playable characters, and uncover the mystery behind the planet's collapse Another thing I found impressive is that the project reached its Kickstarter funding goal in just 44 hours, which says a lot about the excitement around it One of the reasons I found this game is because it was revealed by Loadout Protocol and I'm glad it was It's now one of the indie RPGs I'm looking forward to the most 🫡

Mine all day. Build your base. Set up turrets. Then pray your defense actually works when aliens pull up at night! Yeah, Cosminers is exactly the type of gameplay loop that gets my attention. It is a 1-4 player co-op sci-fi survival game coming to @loadoutprotocol. During the day, you mine resources, explore underground areas, expand your base, craft weapons, and prepare defenses. At night, aliens come to destroy everything you built. So basically, you are trying to build your base on a dangerous planet while everything around you wants you dead. I always liked survival games where you start with almost nothing and slowly build your way up. Add co-op, base building, mining, defense turrets, aliens, and some risk/reward gameplay, and yeah, I have to keep an eye on this one. The team has shipped games before and worked across some well-known studios too, so this is not just another random idea on paper. This is exactly why I like what Loadout is doing. Bringing attention to real indie games before they are already everywhere. Cosminers is definitely one of the games I want to try. Watch the trailer 👇
