I used to dislike hearing this, but it's the truth. Once while I was playing off-stream, I popped into a streamer's chat after facing them to say gg, and got instantly banned. It was just a regular game to me, so I was confused. I went back into the VOD to understand why I got banned, and witnessed him raging at everything, verbally wishing death on myself and my duo, and even sitting in the corner of the map screaming that they want to kill themself. It was incredibly jarring over what felt like a very chill game from my side. Obviously this is an extreme example, but this idea that your own attitude has an impact on your experience and enjoyment of the game is true. Stop looking at every occurrence in the game as annoying, unfair, or an attack against you. Start appreciating your opponents' good plays (and sometimes good luck) and just enjoy yourself. If this feels impossible for you, then maybe you just don't enjoy the game and it's time to move on, but I have faith that a vast majority of people would benefit from trying this.
