love him or hate him but Mayor Jacob Frey has been a freedom fighter for allowing fentanyl to keep flooding into Minnesota while pushing soft-on-crime policies. he deprioritized enforcement on psychedelics back in 2023, he’s been slow to crack down on open drug use, and in all his wisdom the city has seen record overdoses under his watch. if anyone is to blame for the chaos after and before George Floyd, it’s not just the police or white people it’s these politicians that go soft on hard drugs and fentanyl that create these problems in the first place.
Mayor Jacob Frey@MayorFrey

The weight of what happened is still with our city six years later – and the responsibility to keep moving forward together is too.   I know we can keep building a Minneapolis that is safer, more accountable, and more worthy of the people who call it home.

If you want to reframe Gooseworx saying “Nega” as a racial slur, then by your own logic we can apply that exact same standard to your posts where you’ve openly used variations of the actual N-word yourself. You don’t get to weaponize “context” only when it benefits your argument while ignoring your own obvious hypocrisy.

Then by your own logic you should be “cancelled” too, because your own profile is filled with you casually saying the actual N-word multiple times unprompted, yet now you’re trying to frame someone saying “Nega” in reference to a fictional dark/negative counterpart trope as racist. That hypocrisy is exactly why people aren’t taking this outrage seriously. You can’t spend months throwing around actual slurs on your own account, then suddenly pretend context matters only when it benefits you.

That’s because your opinion is worthless and terminally online. Your entire viewpoint was built off manufactured outrage and misinformation surrounding Gooseworx, so nothing you say holds any truth. You took a harmless meme, twisted it into “racist-like actions,” and now you’re trying to gatekeep who is allowed to speak based on skin color/race. that’s ideological brainrot fueled by online echo chambers pretending fiction and bad-faith assumptions are reality. Then you want to pretend you don't endorse race based segregation under the same tone for people you don't agree with.

@LioManBad You called us "worthless" and "terminally online" because we're trying to hold a creator accountable for their racist-like actions. And I NEVER said we should segregate, but you can't tell a group of people how THEY should react if you are not part of said group of people

If you instantly associate the word “NEGA” with black people, despite it being a long-standing term for negative/evil counterparts in fiction, then maybe you should reflect on why your mind immediately made that connection in the first place. The irony is you’re accusing everyone else of racism while basically implying black people are synonymous with “evil” or the term “negative.”

@MultiDarkZen "Harmless", Goose made a joke that revolved around the N-word. She doesn't deserve hate for her identity or for her show but PoC are allowed to be mad at her for her past.

NEGA isn’t the N-word, and words vaguely sounding similar does not magically make them racial slurs. “Nega” has been used for years as shorthand for negative or evil counterparts in fiction. People are seriously grasping at straws by pretending context suddenly stops mattering the moment they want to be offended over nothing.

Nega-Angel is literally referring to a negative version of a character. “Nega” is short for negative, it’s a common trope used for evil/alternate counterparts and villain archetypes. Trying to gaslight people into thinking the word itself is automatically a racial slur ignores the actual context it was used in. Which is honestly ironic when you’re demanding people view everything through “context” while completely ignoring the context here in the first place.

the “racist-like actions” are completely made up in your own head. nobody is “holding someone accountable” here, you’re taking a harmless meme from 7 years ago and trying to project some deeper racist meaning onto it that was never there to begin with.and yes, telling people they shouldn’t speak on a conversation because of their race is still segregation of the jim crow era no matter how you try to re-frame it. you can’t preach equality while simultaneously trying to gatekeep who is “allowed” to have an opinion based on a persons skin color then pretend like you're anti-racist in the same sentence. That is literally racial segregation.

He literally vetoed a bill just in 2026 that would decriminalize hard psychadelics like psilocybin and other drug paraphernalia so excuse me if I don't take his fake tears seriously. Fentanyl causes almost all opioid overdoses in Hennepin County alone that's 86%! What has he been doing since Goerge Floyds death???

you can literally go outside and see a random homeless person tweaking the fuck out in the streets of Minnesota yet this guy has the audacity to cry about George Floyd when his own policies and soft on drug policies facilitated these problems in the first place? Give me a break.

Chris Kirkpatrick says he signed more autographs as Chip Skylark from ‘FAIRLY ODDPARENTS’ than as himself from NSYNC. “There were kids, they had pictures they drew of me. And I’m like ‘Oh my god, how would Chip sign his name?’”

Your annual reminder that George Floyd dressed as water company worker to commit a home invasion with 5 other men. The three victims were female, one of them was pregnant. This is their martyr. 👇🏻 😂

Not a single word from you about the police violence Henry Nowak had to endure handcuffed and left bleeding out after being stabbed multiple times while he was literally dying in the street. Sorry if I don’t take your two-faced ass seriously. If you actually cared about police brutality, you’d care when it happens to white people too. Otherwise you’re just exposing your obvious anti-white bias.

Six years ago, George Floyd’s life was unjustly stolen. Today, I remember him and the countless families living with the pain of police violence. Congress must pass comprehensive policing reform.
