I hope Mixtape wins Game of the Year. No, seriously. I want it to win. Give the industry plant the award it wants that most players already don't respect anymore. It winning would just seal the deal. If it wins literally any award, not even GOTY, it just adds fuel to the fire. For the record, if you enjoy the game, that's fine. There's no need to harp on what enjoyment some people get out of it. It's fine that it's a linear game, with a linear story, with little interaction needed from the player—I'm not being facetious or two-faced here. If you enjoy it, that's totally fine. I've played flash games, old games, new games, indie games, AAA games, VN's, all of them with various ways to play and limited to extensive ways to interact with the game. What's upsetting is the sheer level of support this "indie" game is seeing across every outlet. Playstation, Xbox, defending it, every "gaming" reviewer giving something with limited player choice glowing reviews while other games get snubbed is disheartening to say the least. Seeing people's hard work, love and dedication be cast aside because enough money was dumped is a bit of a buzzkill.

All this means is that hackers will breach it all and over time, have it all. Age verification has the same problems. Your data is secured by the gov's lowest bidder. The age of privacy is over and there is no way to secure any of this. It's a matter of when, not if.

@FillaneXIV THANK YOU. I just had a conversation about this were two players were shrugging it off (but supposedly against it) but proceeded to gaslight me into just doing pvp and letting bygones be bygones. It's effectively ignoring the core issue which is a violation of the ToS to all.

It's sad how many people just say "it's always been this way". This mentality will get nothing done. It's clear that pvp is the least concern for the GMs, as the game never gave me the idea that they like making players fight each other in the first place, but they added pvp to the game and have to be held accountable for not monitoring that content. People have to make a fuss about it, not just shrug it off

What part of enabling do people not understand? Standing by? Turning the other cheek? Just go with the flow of corruption? We're expected to abide by ToS while others make spectacles out of PKing you from the sky for views, spitting in the face of the CBUIII devs?
