We have disengaged from the Parliamentary public hearings. We achieved the primary goal of demonstrating to all and sundry that it's not only the content but also the process that needs scrutiny. We now have irrefutable evidence instead of mere speculation. If we had not participated both the optics and outcome would have uncontestable. On our part as CDF, participation has come at a great cost to our members and we have an obligation to support them for their gallant stance in hostile environments. So, going forward the risk was not worth the reward. We have already made our case. We are now going to continue with the programs and plans we have already set in motion. We will continue with CONSCIENTISATION, ORGANIZATION, MOBILIZATION and ACTIVATION. We still push that we are against the contents of #CAB3. They can withdraw it or subject it to a REFERENDUM. All indication is that there will be a referendum. When it comes to that, we should also not be found wanting. That is why institution building and organization are critical.
