Today, after oversleeping and missing Skirmish on Saturday, I went to Nexus Night and finished 2-0-1 with Miracle Draven. The draw happened because the round went to termination, and I couldn’t secure the 2-point lead within the three extra turns. My opponent was still learning how to play Irelia, so the game dragged on a bit. I’m damn proud of it because I didn’t make a single real mistake and played the way I was supposed to. Two weeks of about 5 hours a day of studying, reading guides from the guys like @Challengertcg , watching Videos of @RandyyyTCG and @Prismaticismism playing, practicing the deck on my own (playing both sides and running it solo), and playing both on paper and on TCG Arena. I’m not saying I played perfectly, but I feel like I finally understood the concept and the game plan, and I’m adapting to situations much better. The biggest test will be Skirmish, and that’s where I’m aiming for numero uno. I’m also still thinking about Miracle Detonate Draven… Honestly, for a 37y old boomer who came back to TCGs after 16 years, I’m damn proud of myself. Jesus, I love @playriftbound so much. 🔥

Played the strongest legend tonight. Result: 2–2. Turns out “best” is a flexible concept.
