⚡ NEW UPDATE: BLITZ-OPTICS & BLITZ RODS ⚡ Two new items just dropped into the Guardian ecosystem — and this is the rarest gear we've ever added. Here's everything you need to know. The Blitz Rod A brand-new Legendary crafting material. Rods cannot be forged, bought, or traded. There is exactly one way to get them: hunt down and kill Boss-Tier Goblins in the World Map. Not just any goblin. Only Level 4 and Level 5 Wandering Goblins drop rods. Level 1 through 3 goblins will never drop one, no matter how many you kill. The higher the goblin, the better your odds — Level 5 goblins drop rods at roughly double the rate of Level 4. Rods are genuinely rare. Expect to hunt a lot of high-level goblins before you see one. That's the point. Important: rods drop from goblins in the WORLD, not from the Gas Fee Goblin raid in the Pit. If you're grinding the Pit boss looking for rods, you're in the wrong place. Go hunt the world map. The Blitz-Optics The new endgame trivia artifact, and the most exclusive item in the game. What it does: When worn during Blitz Trivia, every correct answer gives you a chance to earn a bonus +1 Blitz Point on top of your normal placement points. It only works during trivia, and only when it's actually equipped. If it's sitting in your vault unequipped, it does nothing. The proc chance scales with the item's level. At Level 1 it's a small chance. At Level 5 — fully maxed — you're procking on roughly a quarter of your correct answers. Over a full week of trivia, that adds up to a real edge on the leaderboard. To forge it you need all three of these: 1,000 Scraps 5x Blitz Rod 800,000 $MRFE clearance That 800k $MRFE requirement is a hard gate. This is elite-tier gear and it's meant to be. Leveling it up Here's the part that matters: surplus rods aren't wasted. Once you've forged your Optics, every additional rod you farm goes straight into upgrading it. Rods are the upgrade currency. Each level costs more rods and more scraps than the last, and each level raises your proc chance. Going from Level 1 to Level 5 is a serious long-haul grind — you'll need roughly triple the rods you spent forging it in the first place, plus a heavy scrap investment. This is the deepest chase in the game right now. Nobody is maxing this in a weekend. The Helmet Slot decision Blitz-Optics occupies your Helmet slot — the same slot as the Cipher Crypt Visor. You cannot wear both. This is a real choice and you should think hard about it. The Cipher Crypt Visor gives you Data-Leak bleed in combat, which matters in duels and raids. The Blitz-Optics gives you bonus trivia points, which matters on the leaderboard. Equipping one automatically unequips the other. Are you a fighter or are you a Blitz runner? Pick your lane. You can swap any time in the HUD vault, so nothing is permanent — but you only get one head. Where to find everything The Blitz-Optics can be forged from the Forge in the HUB, or from the /forge command in Telegram. Both show your live Blitz Rod count so you know exactly how close you are. Once forged, equip it from your Vault in the HUB. When it's on, you'll see it light up in the Helmet slot on your Hero tab with a yellow glow. That's how you know it's live.
