@Robin_Faricier’s latest showing that: 1) GET, RCP & the SRS protocol can be used to prescribe domain specific exercise in those with CAD; 2) constant exercise in MOD, HVY, & SEV conform to physiological & performance based expectations. @MuriasLab pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/39999365/

@GregoireMillet1 Indeed^2 😉. I 100% agree with that. In fact, it's funny how some simple stories that don't challenge much fly through the publication system, and some much better (but "disruptive") ones are far tougher to publish. Anyway, we won't fix anything on X, but still fun to interact 😀

@MuriasLab Indeed. But it is easier and often more rewarded in Academia to take NO risks and to reproduce ever and ever the same protocols .. for similar findings🤨 In my view, a major limitation of the current scientific world !

@GregoireMillet1 I feel that this need for disruption brings people to risky places. Same with the "utility" of research. Who can say that something will be useful or disruptive? Anyway, you're right, both things can and need to coexist, and everyone has to find a place in this ecosystem. Cheers!

@MuriasLab Interesting comment.. but who said that strong environment or first-class support staff are not needed? Does "chaos" in science mean "change in paradigm"? At our tiny "sport sciences" level, are replicating the Kuhn-Popper debate?

@csendra_perez found comparable 95% LoA of ±24 %SmO2 between left & right VL in a cycling GXT and 8-min time trial in 26 cyclists Gastrocnemius and tibialis anterior were similar LoA at ±20-25% and ±14-18%, respectively onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.10…
