Out looking at some Soil Booster Mixtures this morning, it goes to show a days growth in July is worth a week in August, is worth a month in September. Key is to get them into the ground early👌

Sowed a bit of red clover in the garden this year to attract some bees and butterflies around the place. Who would of thought a red clover plant could produce such a deep taproot within a few months - must be doing some good below as well as above ground 👍

Out in a direct drilled field this morning which was coming up very patchy, did a little bit of digging only to discover these boys, doing a lot of harm particularly in the softer areas of the field so keep an eye out 🐌

Forage rape & leafy turnip sown 4 weeks ago in lovely Laois. DAFM announced yesterday extension to deadline to establish cover crops so we now have until September 30th to get something into the ground, all we need now is mother nature to play her part. @Germinal_Ire
