@TeddyZ18 @CrwnGlobalMedia Ask any of these draft evaluators and they'll say every player taken in the 2rd/3rd round are good players we should consider. Yet revisit past drafts and look how many players actually amount to anything..

@CrwnGlobalMedia From what I've heard from Voch and Broaddus the 2nd and 3rd rounds have alot of quality players so if they can pull it off then make the calls.

Interested thought here. I get two players that I could absolutely use +1240 in draft capital. Now picking 2-43 2-49 3-75 3-82 3-92. I’d consider this.

He's No. 37 on the consensus board.
I have a hard time believing that a team would have a top-20 grade on him.
So no, he shouldn't be an option at No. 20.

@Brandoniswrite @thedumbzone The reality is that he is probably the most dangerous/reliable kicker from range. But make no mistake, many kickers are as accurate or more so up to 50 yards. He got offered the highest value contract in the league, and it's ridiculous if he wants 50% more. Time will tell I guess

Realistically if they made a trade for a bonafide dude at LB, I’d be perfectly okay with them taking Sadiq at 12 and them addressing EDGE/DB at 20, then addressing LB/DL at 92.

Totally understand this BTW.
I was hoping that Dallas would use free agency to grab 4-5 starters and really improve their depth.
But I've come to the conclusion that they are never going to treat FA that way. So the only way to get stars is to draft them early.

@Marcus_Mosher I feel like it makes them better than drafting one stud. I feel like that’s how defense is, it’s about the sum of the parts and everyone doing their job. I think the ‘23 defense with Micah sucked. They padded the EPA bc of turnovers but were destroyed by almost every good offense

I wonder if 2026 is the last year for Kenny Clark in Dallas.
The Cowboys can save $20M in 2027 (with just $2.2M in dead cap) by designating him a June-1 cut.
It's possible they could extend, but this is a big year for him.

@therick824 @VochLombardi I agree with this take. It seems like there are 6 defense players that would be a great pick at #12 who would contribute immediately. Unfortunately, there is a chance they could all be gone. If that happened, I'd be pulling the parachute.
