@Strandjunker Half true. As someone who lives close to the air base in Ramstein, I can tell you that the people and the economy here is depending on the US forces. Withdrawing them will be catastrophic for our already low-running state coffers.

US troops are not in Germany to protect Germany. They’re there because the US needs bases to conduct operations beyond the North American continent. If Trump withdraws them, he will harm the United States, not Germany. It’s absurd how many Americans fail to grasp this.

@electricairgame Another explanation could be (when looking on an ongoing series of games): It started this way, so they kept it this way. Classic example: Dragon Quest.

@electricairgame The Legend of Zelda is a Adventure game, not a RPG. Besides that, I have no clear answer for this trope. I guess the developers are "afraid" that the player could become estranged from the character if their personality it too "overwhelming".

@HexTheCatMeow Try the Fuga - Melodies of Steel series. Another good pick (if you like rogue-like) is Anomaly Collapse. Biomutant was also enjoyable (rather weak story, but really nice combat).
