@Phernael @LuengoGil Yo no veo mal que usen papers "gordos" vs cantidad. Mucho D1 (sin meterme en NCS) puede llevar 3-4 años de trabajo. De índice H he visto de todo en los resúmenes de otros años, incluso gente con muy pocos papers pero muy bien posicionados en IF y citas.

@MuruLago @LuengoGil En el fondo quieren gente con papers de alto impacto y/o MUCHAS publicaciones y alto H-index. Y luego se camufla con la cuestión narrativa de la independencia. Han convertido un programa de Postdoc senior en transición en una ayuda para atraer no-junior PIs con papers gordos.

Otra #RamónYCajal donde no estoy ni cerca. Os dejo mi evaluación. Cada vez más se están otorganado exclusivamente a PI consolidados, cuando las #RyC son precisamente para cubrir el periodo hasta la consolidación. En clara colisión con el concepto de R3 que se obtiene tras 3 años.

@LuengoGil @Phernael Es que precisamente que te pidan corresponding es una perversión de que el programa abarque de 2 a 10 años de experiencia post doctorado (y que se cargarán el turno junior o ls JdCi).

@Phernael Hay seleccionados que no tienen ni uno de corresponding o sénior, pero tienen unos cuantos de alto factor de impacto, que al final es lo que siguen mirando, lo de la "evaluación narrativa" es una fachada que nos han colado para hacernos perder más tiempo.

@Phernael Te piden que las estancias repercutan en papers buenos que hayas liderado. Al final te van a estar comparando con otra gente de tu sección, la gente que evalúa dice que tu CV y proyecto tienen que convencerlos para que te defiendan frente a otros candidatos.

Pero qué puede haber más cerca del 20/20 que x2 MSCA fellows, e investigación en 3 países (4 si contamos estancias)?

In January, I reviewed a Review for a crappy MDPI journal. It was 100% AI, missing citations, etc. I sent a massive report, and the authors withdrew it. Today, I see it published without a single change in another even crappier MDPI journal.

@acorralcrm I am happy to share over email or dm, I don't like public witchhunts lol. One of the reviewers for the article has an acuaculture background and is reviewing a "rare disease genetics" paper...
