I was diagnosed woth tounge cancer in February and finished had surgery in March and finished radio/chemotherapy in July so very passionate about raising awareness.

There really needs to be an investment into research into why there is a rise of this disease in the young. 2/2

It was your comment at the start when you said rise in oral cancer was because people are not looking after themselves. 1/2

@GrahamN53408825 @thenimzoindian @RedBullUK @RavenHT @reigatebanstead @KeepBritainTidy @CarbonKiss @LoveReigate @GreenKnight2010 He managed to catch up with the crew that used to empty this bin before and they  told him that the bin belonged to and was emptied by the staff from the Co-op and they couldn’t manage to empty it as quickly as it filled so they removed it !

4. And possibly, most importantly, never be afraid to ask for help because if you find yourself at your lowest, there will always be family or friends to help lift you up.

Tomorrow will be 6 months from my first operation for tongue cancer. It will also mark my return to regular Council work and the start of normal life once again.
