Building Bridges, Not Enemies: Inside Tinubu’s Strategic Governance Model By Musa Gwary ✍️ In observing Nigeria’s evolving political landscape, one cannot overlook the strategic acumen demonstrated by President Bola Tinubu. His approach to governance reflects a deliberate and calculated understanding of political engagement particularly his ability to transform dissenting voices into partners in national development. This capacity to manage relationships across ideological lines has become a defining element of his leadership style. A striking example is the inclusion of individuals from opposition platforms in key positions within his administration. The appointment of the Nyesom Wike as Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, despite his affiliation with a rival political party, underscores a leadership philosophy that prioritizes capability, influence, and national interest over partisan differences. His performance has further justified the President’s decision, reinforcing the idea that political diversity can strengthen governance when properly harnessed. This strategy extends to respected political communicators such as @BwalaDaniel , who has emerged as a strong advocate for the administration after previously taking an opposing stance. Similarly, figures like @renoomokri and Femi Fani-Kayode both well-known for their critical viewpoints in the past—are now serving the nation in ambassadorial roles in Mexico and Germany. These developments illustrate the President’s broader strategy of integrating prominent voices into constructive national roles rather than allowing political disagreements to fester. Ultimately, President Tinubu’s ability to convert former critics into contributors reflects a unique understanding of political diplomacy. Rather than relying solely on confrontation, he embraces inclusion as a tool for stability and influence. Whether viewed through the lens of strategy, leadership, or political maturity, his approach demonstrates a nuanced application of the principle that lasting governance is built not by multiplying adversaries, but by turning them into allies for the collective good.

A Question to the Public: Is It Time for Young People to Lead Nigeria Again? Have we, as a nation, truly explored the power of youthful leadership? Sometimes, when young people lead, they may come across as bold, even aggressive, but isn’t it true that their results often speak louder than their methods? Many of us who experienced politics at a younger age understand how those moments shaped our thinking. Today, I am not calling for any form of revolution. Instead, I am questioning why we abandoned the #NotTooYoungToRun initiative that once inspired hope across this country. Doesn’t Nigeria need that spirit now more than ever? Let’s reflect on the North-East, particularly Borno State, a region that has battled insecurity for years. What changed the tide? Wasn’t it the leadership of young, energetic individuals, Ali Modu Sheriff, Kashim Shettima, and Babagana Zulum, all of whom governed the state before the age of 50? Is that not evidence that youthful leadership can bring stability, innovation, and courage? So, should we not rethink our approach to leadership selection? Shouldn’t we, as citizens, wake up and decide to support young, visionary leaders again? I genuinely want to hear the views of many here. And if the majority aligns around a particular young leader, I am ready to support and promote that individual wholeheartedly. What do you think, is it time for Nigeria to trust young leaders once more?

@MusaGwary Here is the problem Mallam Musa. The VP has absolutely no powers to do anything without the express approval of Mr President. He can't command or instruct the Nigerian Armed forces. The VP is doing his best that l believe. It's just so Sad what's happening in Maiduguri

Open Message to the Vice President Dear Mr. Vice President, I was among those who supported and voted for this government largely because of the confidence many of us had in your leadership, particularly from your record and public engagements in Borno State. Your speeches at the time were inspiring, reassuring, and gave many citizens hope that decisive leadership would translate into meaningful change for our country. However, many Nigerians remain concerned, especially regarding the security situation. The expectations created by those promises were high, and people are eager to see stronger, visible actions that will restore confidence and improve safety across affected communities. You once assured the nation of your readiness to take bold steps and personally lead efforts to confront the security challenges facing the country. At this critical moment, citizens are looking up to that commitment and hoping to see renewed leadership that will help steer Nigeria out of its current difficulties. Nigeria is facing serious challenges, and the people continue to hope for decisive leadership, practical solutions, and a renewed sense of direction. Respectfully. Musa Gwary ✍️ Member of APC (Active)

Edited version This image is a painful reminder that death can come at any moment. The photograph was taken at the scene of the bomb blast, where an individual tragically lost his/her life while breaking his fast during Ramadan. In his/her hand, a tally counter can be seen a sign that he was remembering Allah in his final moments. It is a deeply moving reflection of faith, vulnerability, and the fragility of life. May Allah forgive his shortcomings, grant him Jannatul Firdaus, and grant comfort and strength to the families of all those who lost their lives in this tragic incident. May the souls of the departed rest in perfect peace. #BornoIsBleeding

When tragedies occur, leaders are expected to visit affected communities or at least issue a formal statement addressing the incident. When the attack in Oro claimed hundreds of lives, the Federal Government responded by sending a delegation led by the Vice President, and that effort was commendable. However, during this month of Ramadan, countless properties have been destroyed and many lives have been lost in our region. Despite the severity of these incidents and despite the fact that both the Vice President and the Deputy National Party Chairman are from this region, there has been no visible response or public engagement. Nonetheless, leadership reflects the choices we make. We voted for what we wanted, and these are the outcomes. As 2027 approaches, we will once again have the opportunity to decide the direction we want for our nation.

BREAKING NEWS: Reports reaching our newsroom indicate that some fueling stations across Nigeria have begun selling petrol at ₦300 per litre—but only to customers who can present an APSee Membership Card. Witnesses say the fuel pumps are flowing smoothly, but the real queue is now for the mysterious APSee card itself.
