In nursing school my female class mates will always tell us the male nurses that we aren’t their standard, fast forward to 6years post graduation and I’m seeing all their husbands, some of them resemble turkey 🦃 😭😂 is this the standard?
English

@_makkiee I wrote JAMB twice and neither of them secured me my dreamed course.

@rachealray295 Please do not fuel this misconception we are trying to bridge for a very long time.
I trained with some female nurses as virtual assistant and they are also doing 9-5 job
Again, some female nurses have what theydo before they become nurses for example some are fashion designers

You know the saying that nurses are prostitutes and this posts indirectly is fueling that same statement
1. Not all nurses are earning that 80k I for one started with 140k in 2023 as a new grad
2. Side hustles (I sold two bonestraight last week)
Your post is a bit mischievous

Dear RN,
There are unwritten rules in nursing that no one ever teaches you.
If you’re planning to practice your nursing profession internationally, you must be intentional about bridging your knowledge gaps. There’s so much to learn.
And yes , understanding those unwritten rules is just as crucial!
Cheers 🥂

@XenoVerseh You will soon be rejecting 280k just know what you are doing and position yourself
English

@XenoVerseh Very unfortunate... However, my advise is to scale 📈 up your knowledge both live and virtual. Wishing every dedicated nurse success 👍

@rundriveng Thank you for this chief 👑.

Dear RN,
There’s nothing like breathing normally!
However, statements like “breathing normally” are too vague and subjective for clinical documentation. Documentation must remain objective, clear, and measurable.
Correct example:
“Respirations are equal and unlabored. Lung sounds are clear bilaterally on auscultation. Respiratory rate: 18 breaths per minute. SpO₂: 99% on room air.”
That’s objective, precise, and defensible.
Cheers! 🥂
