Tomi, Times are truly changing, and the economy isn't helping anyone, yeah that'll be a great excuse & many men are exhausted from carrying everything alone while facing constant pressures. That 100% provider mindset is what we’re talking about. Mind you, even in the older generation, where men provided to the fullest, their wives still played supportive roles.
Sometimes, a woman’s support isn’t so "loud," but it’s what keeps the home running.
A wise woman knows when to step in for her man, and a wise man does not feel entitled to his wife’s support or place her on "50/50." Instead, he appreciates her support.
You can’t be a man and be so loud about 50/50, it makes you sound foolish.
Having chosen a kind partner, embrace your role; then see if your wife won’t step in where and when necessary.

It’s poverty that makes some of you argue about 50/50. I don’t think there’s any man who has the capacity to fully take care of his home and still wouldn’t do everything he can to support his family. There are many things women do that money can’t compensate for. At some point, one person has to do more. But as a man, always have a 100% provider mentality. You may not be able to afford everything right now because you’re still building, but do your best to grow and increase your capacity. I believe that as God blesses you and you’re able to provide 100% as a man, please do. Don’t allow strangers online to dictate how you run your family.
