Then I helped build @convorelay into the largest Deaf-owned company in the world. 700 employees. 5 countries. 20M+ conversations.

17 years in a monolithic video platform for the Deaf. We just threw out our entire platform and started over. Here's why.

The same goes for sign language. Visual language can process messages 100x faster than written messages.

@markgadala But, losing Artax is part of what made Atrayu strong enough to do what he needed to do. Atrayu IS Sabastain, and Artax represented the loss of his mother and how he could move on and be brave without her. People need to stop "fixing" things that don't need to be fixed.

@elonmusk @grok Loving Grok in my Cybertruck—nails speech recognition even with my deafness and thick NY accent (beats Siri hands down!). Voice mode is spot on, but enhanced on-screen subtitles for responses would keep convos flowing hands-free while driving. Safer & smoother for everyone! #xAI

@lexfridman Why not do a podcast on @convo? We're the largest Deaf-owned company, producing 20 million conversations that wouldn't otherwise happen for Deaf people, focusing on the beauty of what we do for humanity.

Feeling down about the world and about myself.
Normal human things. I'm sure soon it'll be better. If you're down too, sending you love.
I'm hiding from the world for a bit, enjoying the Boston fall months, long runs along the Charles river.
I think humans are beautiful and fascinating and for the most part awesome.
The internet seems to want to tell you otherwise. I disagree, but I don't have the right words for it.
I'll probably do a long solo episode on Dostoevsky (especially Brothers Karamazov) at some point to help me articulate this better.
I love you all.

This was more than a booth. We came to DNWE to say: Your conversations can happen anywhere — and Convo is here for that. Thanks to everyone who stopped by, shared a story, or simply asked: “What do you all do?” We see you. We’re with you.

Happy Father’s Day to all the amazing dads out there! Your hard work and dedication to your children and families deserve recognition and gratitude. Keep shining! 🙌 #FathersDay

Most peopleDeaf and hard of hearing people do business.
Deaf business owners used to carry an unfair burden — paying out of pocket for interpreting just to run their day-to-day. That extra cost? That’s always been on them.
Now, that’s over. linkedin.com/posts/jarrodmu…

We’re excited to share that we're piloting @ConvoRelay Access for live, free American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation for customer information in select locations.
This innovative mobile app connects you with an on-demand ASL interpreter right on your device, so you can chat with an MTA employee about service changes, payment, or anything else about your trip.
The pilot program is free to use for all riders—just scan the Convo QR code and you’ll quickly be connected to an interpreter.
