MSPD is mourning the loss of a retired brother. Today, we honor the memory of retired Sgt Boyce Nesbitt. He honorably served the MSPD for 20 years (1978-1998). We are thankful for his years of service and dedication. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Nesbitt family. 💙🇺🇸

Congratulations are in order. Yesterday, Officers Nick Hayes and Clayton Terry graduated from the Law Enforcement Academy in Tuscaloosa,Al. They will now begin their field training at MSPD. Be sure to say hello when you see them out on patrol.MSPD hiring the best!💙🇺🇸
