So Sami Zayn just won the United States Championship on SmackDown. Look, if the plan is to get the belt to Trick Williams in a triple threat with Carmelo Hayes at WrestleMania, I won’t complain too much. But if not? They just took Carmelo Hayes out of WrestleMania after the run he just had with the title, and that just feels wrong. WWE seriously needs to make up their mind about Sami Zayn. They can’t keep having him win mid-card titles, then lose world title matches, and expect people to still see him as a future world champion. We keep ending up in the same spot with him because, for some reason, he just can’t break out of the mid-card. So let this be temporary, and get back to the story of making Sami Zayn a true main event player next year. Otherwise, this is just going to kill any interest people have in him.

I still don’t understand the logic behind the direction of the US title for WrestleMania. Aleister Black defeated Sami Zayn last week by knocking him off with the Black Mass. He should be the top contender for the US title not Trick Williams. They could’ve easily done a Fatal 5 Way for the US title without the title change.

Ilja Dragunov and Carmelo Hayes put in blood, sweat, and tears to make that United States Championship mean something. The fact that both of them could miss WrestleMania 42 just feels wrong. So I hope at least one of them, if not both, are involved in that United States Title match. They’ve earned it, and WWE knows it.

Honestly not every heel needs to turn babyface simply because fans are chanting their catchphrase or singing their songs. It’s not just Randy but also Trick Williams. He’s clearly the heel in this feud with Sami. But even if Trick is massively over, them flipping the roles all of sudden would make zero sense.

Randy Orton turning heel, yet still getting full singalongs and cheers, tells you everything. The crowd reaction hasn’t changed and honestly, WWE doesn’t seem to want it to. This isn’t about forcing boos. It’s about telling a story that connects. The dynamic between Randy and Cody Rhodes is what matters, and so far, it’s hitting exactly how it should. I've been loving this story so far! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Idk the whole heel Sami and face Trick thing just makes no sense ngl. It’s like Liv and Rhea. Rhea as a heel injured Liv’s shoulder, driving Liv to seek well deserved revenge. But Rhea is painted as the hero while Liv is the villain. Trick has literally been trying to get on Sami’s nerves. But when Sami eventually bursts, Trick is seen as the righteous one?
