However, it’s important to note that less than 1 billion of those streams come from Spotify. Audio streams are accepted under virtually all streaming criteria established by various music associations worldwide, unlike video streams, which are considered by only a limited number of associations for certifications. Moreover, the process has become more stringent, as video streams are often weighted with a higher ratio. For instance, in the UK, while video streams are indeed counted toward units, it takes 600 streams to equal one unit. Approximately less than 33% of Échame La Culpa’s YouTube streams are eligible for unit conversion. We hope this clears up any confusion.
