American was ordering DoorDash from Gibson’s Steakhouse in Chicago
On the app it asks if you would like to add a carrot cake. It’s $23.50 for the slice. It seems expensive but she ads it anyway

It’s a House made Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting and Walnuts
I found the reason for this shocking situation is because the steakhouse is known for oversized, old-school steakhouse portions
According to reviewers online it’s well worth it and people say it’s very good tasting
I’d recommend only ordering this if you’re with a group of people
Personally I think this is actually a pretty good value, but the price does seem shocking at first if you’ve never seen it

A mother searched 32 years for kidnapped son, helped reunite 29 other families before finding him.
Li Jingzhi's 2-year-old son, Mao Yin, was abducted in 1988.
She dedicated her life to the search: she quit her job, distributed over 100,000 flyers, traveled across more than 20 provinces, appeared on numerous TV shows, and followed hundreds of leads (over 300 false ones). In 2007, she began volunteering with the non-profit group Baobeihuijia ("Baby Come Home"), a volunteer-run database helping match missing children with families.
Through her efforts and the group's work (which has aided over 3,000 reunions overall), she personally helped reunite 29 other abducted/missing children with their families before her own breakthrough.
The reunion happened on May 18, 2020, after police used facial recognition technology on a photo of the grown Mao Yin (then 34), leading to tips, a DNA test confirmation, and an emotional televised reunion with his biological parents.
Li expressed disbelief and gratitude, saying she couldn't believe that after helping 29 others, she finally found her own son.
She pledged to continue the work against child abductions.
