Tuesday August 29th, 2023, Muskingum County Board of Elections performed their hand count audit with 100% accuracy of the August 8th, 2023, special election.

As we wrap up the May election, we will be reaching out to poll workers for the August 8th special election. If you or anyone you know would like to become a poll worker please reach out to our office at 740-455-7120.

Employees from the office stepped away from elections this morning to give back time to Christ Table preparing home bound meals. The office volunteers once a month at Christ table preparing the home bound meals.

Reminder: Tuesday April 25th at 8:30 p.m. is the last day for absentee voting by mail.

April 17-21 in person voting hours are 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Week two in office early voting hours are Mon. 4/10- Fri. 4/14 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Upcoming deadlines for the Apr 28, 2020 election: SAT Apr 25: Board must receive absentee ballot applications by noon MON Apr 27: Absentee ballots must be postmarked by this day to be accepted by mail TUE Apr 28: Absentee ballots must be rec'd in office by 7:30pm to be accepted

I bet you have questions about how we're finishing this 2020 primary election. We're trying to answer each one. Go to VoteOhio.gov and click on Frequently Asked Questions. Check back as we will update it between now and April 28 with new questions that come in.

Per orders of the State, there will be NO in-person voting today, Tuesday, March 17, 2020. Polling locations will be CLOSED for voting. It appears as if Election Day will be moved to Tuesday, June 2, 2020. In the meantime, as of now, absentee voting by MAIL will continue.

I hear this myth WAY too much. It is absolutely false that your absentee vote won’t be counted unless the race is close. In fact, Ohioans can track their absentee ballot to ensure it was received by their county board of elections at VoteOhio.gov.
