Hit me with a random game dev fact. I'll start: In a lot of games, this is what your player actually looks like behind the scenes. The famous character pill.

@Phantom_TheGame I think the problem is the weight of the object.

I always wondered why games almost never use realistic gravity. Turns out realistic gravity just seems way too floaty. Does anyone know why? Maybe we're just not used to actually falling such distances?

@thiojoe I remember back in school there was an activity where each group had their own mouse and their own cursor. Not sure how it was done though...

I don't know who needs to know this information but the iOS Photos app won't correctly show the transparency for PNG images where BOTH width and height are not greater than exactly 360 pixels. There seem to also be other reasons that I haven't figured out yet.

Getting a bit tired of typing out "game dev" all day long. Can we shorten it do "gev" or something?

@Phantom_TheGame Agreed! VR games have an entirely different feel. You can't take any genre and make a VR game.

I hate when people think VR will replace conventional gaming. VR will probably be part of gaming in the future, but it's just a completely different experience. VR isn't *better*, people think it is and that it will replace older stuff because it's more "modern".

@NoahNCopeland A lot of people (not talking about this poll) seem to hate waypoints. For me, it depends one how it's handled. If they were cluttered and not easy to use, they can be annoying. Otherwise, they're okay.

Waypoints or marks on map that show you where to go next
