NEW: All former Pennsylvania governors released a statement urging lawmakers to ensure Josh Shapiro’s safety after Stacy Garrity, who is Pennsylvania treasurer and the GOP gubernatorial candidate, declined to fund security upgrades for the Shapiro family’s residence. “Last year, Governor Shapiro and his family faced an unspeakable attack while they were sleeping in the Governor’s Residence. Combatting political violence and keeping our elected officials safe should always be nonpartisan and a priority. For us, the attack on Pennsylvania’s First Family was particularly upsetting. In the aftermath of that attack we ask the state’s current leaders and legislators to make the safety and security of the Governor and his family a priority,” they wrote.

NEWS: Pam Bondi will NOT appear before the House Oversight Committee in its Epstein probe. DOJ says Bondi was subpoenaed in her capacity as attorney general and, since she's no longer AG, she will not appear. Democrats wanted Bondi to testify regardless of her status as AG.
