It is with deep sorrow that I joined the Rt. Hon. Speaker Anita Annet Among, the Rt. Hon. Deputy Speaker Thomas Tayebwa, and Honorable Members of Parliament to receive the body of our departed colleague, Hon. Hellen Nakimuli, Woman Member of Parliament for Kalangala District. Her passing is a profound loss to Parliament and to the nation. Hon. Nakimuli served with distinction, demonstrating unwavering commitment to her constituents and contributing meaningfully to national development. Her legacy of dedicated service will endure in the lives she touched and the causes she championed. On behalf of the Government, I extend my heartfelt condolences to her family, the people of Kalangala, and all Ugandans during this difficult time. She will be dearly missed. Innah lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un.
