@drchungus_ Okay let's just say ur right and all main supps play zen in zen/bap. That just means they switch spots on the spectrum, and they're both still far on the flex supp side. I'm telling you Liam probably has at least 20x as much time on Zen as me, which is true for most flex supps

@MuttnikOW Only time i’d ever want zen is circuit/havana/maybe junkertown. Why would i sacrifice my flex support on baptiste/kiriko (mainstays in their hero pool) so they can play zen? Your telling me liamfox goes zen and you go bap/kiriko? It just doesn’t happen and hasn’t for years

Taking this a step further with the flex/main support spectrum. This conversation always confuses people bc there are outliers where metas include double ms/fs. For any combo, the flex supp will play the left hero, the main supp will play the right hero, with few exceptions.

@drchungus_ You're totally right about the way the heroes are designed, but the terms "main support" and "flex support" are about pro ow hero pools. Look at the notable zen players page on liquipedia and all you see are flex supp players.

@MuttnikOW they all peel, they all mark tracer, they all hold angles and they all let their other support do the majority of the healing for ult charge purposes?? Most of them have a boop and shield break, defensive ultimates (bar illari) and they all need aim to be played at a high level

@drchungus_ OG zen comps were zen/mercy or zen/brig, with some zen/bap as one of the first double fs comps. Between this and goats comp, flex supports got good at zen, and only a few main supports ever played him professionally. It's a hero pool thing, not a hero design thing.

@MuttnikOW theres just nothing that makes zen on the left though i’ve still never understood this why would you ever want your main heals guy on zen why is this narrative still a thing

PAX AUS 2025 was probably one of the most rewarding and validating experiences for me ever. I wanted to share and celebrate everything that happened - THIS IS A LONG ONE: First of all @ANZCreators. Many months ago the team thought, "hey it might be cool if we had branded lanyards and name badges for the weekend so creators could find each other!" Due to us having no budget, this turned into one of the coolest collaborations with Red Bull Tetris. We handed out about 500 lanyards across the weekend and had the biggest PAX meetup I've ever seen (thanks for the photo @8bitElliott), followed by a casual mixer event. The ANZ Creators gang continue to surprise and inspire, and I can't wait to see what's next. Thank you especially to @justkyledavid, Jordan & @roguecarls from @redbullau for their time and generosity, and to the ANZ Creators team @ZombiesLvBacon, @MoonlitCharlie & @hannabealla. Next up, Overwatch 2! The community around this game SHOWS UP and it's bloody awesome! I was very lucky to put on the "You Think You Know Overwatch 2?" panel again this year with @dix0nm8, @Profound_Rice, and epic newcomer @MuttnikOW. It was a lot of fun discussion and trivia (with prizes thanks to @Blizzard_ANZ and @PlayOverwatch). We even had @aaronkellerOW send a welcome message which blew us away. Thanks to Nic, @meganleigh_r & Kaedi for the support, as well as @Astrokerrie for saying yes, & @GenerOZity for having us on their stage. The @UbisoftANZ party was spectacular, and a great chance to have some fun and celebrate R6 Siege's 10th anniversary with creators and players. They even gave me a trophy for being the community "Silly Billy" that I shall treasure! It was also a great excuse to meet up with the JCTN team led by @JudgeBrand and @Overlord717. Thanks to @elliebtea, @bvaughan6 & Dylan as well as the @REKTgn team who were working hard! Also can we talk about the Twitch Community Meetup Party and Moondog? Congrats to all the state groups coming together for an epic event bringing @Twitch_ANZ streamers together for a night of connection. Now for the soppy part. PAX is so special for me purely for the PEOPLE. They don't say "Welcome Home" for no reason - content creation is often an isolating experience and this is the event where the internet converges to get some face to face time! I was so lucky to meet so many of you all over the weekend and I'm so grateful to all who came and said hello, and supported the activities I was doing this weekend. I really feel like what I'm doing is valued and I have made some lifelong friendships.
