Deals like this are just frustrating, because ideally, it should be Santos + two more. Santos on his own in isolation, for me, is a good useful player for a good fee. But because of Ederson it rules out the possibility of a ‘Tonali—Matty F’ like rebuild which is what we needed.

I'll get pelters but I like him. Duel winner, snappy passer, aggressive tackler, not really the 'long legged' midfielder I've been shouting about but depending on price, genuinely don't mind it. I was proper impressed with him at Strasbourg. Chels might ask for premium though.

Scott briefs are coming but the club are well aware and it's been widely reported Bournemouth don't want to sell and he's a minimum £80m ( prob could have his price inflated too cause of the Fernandes deal). Let's see how long this saga lasts, if it even does.
