@nonregemesse It was Hollywood in the early 2010’s . It was full of weirdos more so than now why are we surprised about this

Tom Brady is the greatest due to the amount of accomplishments he has
But he’s not where near the best player of all time which is why he’s not the goat
Stick to the Model@StickToTheModel
what NFL opinion makes you feel like this?
English

@skymallliving @TheXFilmXLord It was a low budget horror movie who no one expected to do as well as it did . She was paid accordingly to her talent and her experience. No one held a gun to her head and made her sign the contract
English

@Mvrcxs_ @TheXFilmXLord She made $2/hr more than a fucking fry cook, as an art director on a feature film. indeed.com/cmp/McDonald's…
English

@Mvrcxs_ @Gooboberti @TheXFilmXLord It makes a very high amount of sense to want to get paid proportional to the value you create
Yes legally the team was paid what they agreed to, yes it’s also the right thing to do to pay out some of the lottery money the movie randomly made to the team on moral grounds
English

@Jack1123563 @TheXFilmXLord Would they have a share in the loss if the movie tanked ? No. She should’ve worked a percentage of profit clause into her contract . She didn’t so why would she get any extra ?
English

@Mvrcxs_ @TheXFilmXLord because of your deference to the capitalist class? they absolutely should have a share in the profits. the person in question may not work again for months.
it was absolutely not 20 days by the way. but of course you believe an 'AI creative' lmao
English

@Gooboberti @TheXFilmXLord For her first roll ever in a major movie she did very well . Wanting to get paid more because the movie did better than expected just makes no sense .
English

@Mvrcxs_ @TheXFilmXLord yeah, i know, but minimum wage jobs are bottom of the barrel nothing jobs, and this is a movie.
I undertand they signed contracts, and that's unfortubate.
It's sort of wild to accept a flat rate as opposed to some sort of percentage gain, especially on a movie.
English

@skymallliving @TheXFilmXLord She’s still making significantly more than the minimum wage
English

@Mvrcxs_ @TheXFilmXLord California minimum wage is almost $17/hr
English

@Jack1123563 @TheXFilmXLord Because I think that a contract that was signed should be honored regardless of the success of the project ?
English

@Mvrcxs_ @TheXFilmXLord Comparing working on a movie to minimum wage jobs is cray
English

@skymallliving @TheXFilmXLord $21 an hour for your FIRST job in the film industry and she’s complaining nation wide minimum wage is 7.25
English

@Mvrcxs_ @TheXFilmXLord No one in the film industry works an 8 hour day. 12 hour day standard, often longer. She was paid a little over $21/hr after OT considerations are included. Even less if you also consider she wasn't reimbursed for mileage.
English

@S1LNTHLL @TheXFilmXLord Ok then they should have looked for a better paying job ? No one forced them to take that role . $29-$43 for your first job in ANY type of medium is very good when the nation wide minimum wage is 7.25 an hour .
English

@Mvrcxs_ @TheXFilmXLord hey so the wage people need to make to be livable is over $29. the wage people need to make an hour to be livable in CALIFORNIA is well over $43.
English

@mrduckman4 @TheXFilmXLord Never worked in the movie industry. They didn’t have to say yes to the job . They agreed to get paid 7k for 20 days of work . If the movie had tanked would they have put up their own money to help the studio recoup its losses ?
English

@Mvrcxs_ @TheXFilmXLord if they had that job consistently then yeah, complaining is crazy. But work comes inconsistently, it’s not like the crew gets any recognition so you’re not getting any fame. Plus LA is expensive asf to live in. It’s not that crazy to complain given everything.
English

@mrduckman4 @TheXFilmXLord I imagine work comes inconsistently in the movie business . That being said you can’t expect to get paid more because a movie you worked did better than anyone expected . Unless you worked a percentage of revenue clause into your contract . The art director of this movie has also

This is a lady who came from nothing & all of sudden she’s living a luxurious life.
Her finances changed & it's all because of MARRIAGE.
She had no tangible skills, she didn't sweat it out, she made no investments, no capital, no sleepless nights.
Heck! she isn't even a 9 to my standards.
But she became a billionaire overnight because she has a hole between her legs & a man like myself wanted to own that hole.
Women live life on easy mode.
