The “I don’t wanna date lightskin men because they’re feminine” stance is the exact same colorism that affects dark skin women. The colorism that women participate in with dating preferences usually gets ignored because at face value it doesn’t seem harmful to men. But it absolutely is. This idea that dark skin men are more masculine, more aggressive etc. is so dangerous for both men & women.
Is this to say you can’t have an attraction preference? I mean no, but I do think it’s something to be aware of.
