The problem that has always come with being a high achiever especially in academics is everyone has high expectations from you,wheather you like it or not. And there are others waiting for you to fail so that they can feel satisfied because their parents compared them to you so now they want to prove their parents wrong. In Garissa Town, there are reports of brewing violence targeting people perceived as Nywele ngumu. A few rogue individuals have allegedly been attacking and in some cases, killing non-Somalis. In an area known as Bula Medina, a woman identified mkamba was reportedly attacked, raped, and stabbed. Her husband, together with neighbors who attempted to assist her, were also assaulted and are currently recuperating at Garissa Referral Hospital. These attacks against non-Muslims have reportedly been ongoing for some time, with some individuals even using social media to incite others, telling non-Muslims to return to their ancestral homes based on the belief that Garissa belongs exclusively to somalis. The picture below shows the County Commissioner visiting the victims. He is also said to be among those being targeted by the same rogue elements, who claim they do not want non-Somali commissioners, police officers, or OCS personnel in their areas. But my question is, are these people ready for nywele ngumu retaliation if we decide to go that route. Somalis are good people, but you see these imbeciles that came from Somali & issued with IDs illegally, they're terrorists & we are very ready for them. If this nonsense doesn't stop, very soon Kenya might turn into South Africa. Chesaa!!

I know it hurts a lot, but the truth is : Fuel isn’t “free money.” Cheaper fuel means less levy revenue for roads. Kenya has 164,967 km of roads, 15.1% paved (24,868 km); Uganda has 146,000 km, 4.4% paved (6,466 km); Tanzania has 181,000 km, 8% paved (15,000 km). Kenya uses a fuel/roads levy, and cheaper fuel still means less road funding unless the gap is covered elsewhere. The choice is simple: lower taxes and cheaper fuel with slower road development, or higher levies and stronger road expansion. The opposition should stop turning every fuel conversation into cheap politics and blaming Ruto for everything.
