Bright, colorful veggies getting prepped in the kitchen. Many of our guests live with dental challenges, so we make an effort to incorporate softer vegetables whenever we can — making it easier and more comfortable to enjoy the meal.

Students from LVTI Skillsusa helped serve lunch last week. They jumped right in — making sandwiches, welcoming guests, and keeping the line moving. Leadership through service in action.

December 30—the pause before the year turns. 2025 at the Table looked a lot like our apple-heart logo: simple, sustaining, offered with care. Doors opened. Coffee poured. Meals shared. Names remembered. The numbers mattered. The people mattered more. A meal is never just a meal.

Is it possible to have too many cooks in the kitchen? Not when it’s the ACF Epicurean Club of Boston 🙂 They helped us get ready for Christmas Dinner — chopping, stirring, laughing. Community in aprons. Thank you for being part of what makes the Table work.

Tonight is the longest night of the year. We remember neighbors who died without a place to call home. We think of them often—some still with us, some gone. All mattered. Tonight, let’s remember them—and recommit to looking out for all our neighbors.
