Since I happen to find myself in that timeline of reality where I can just ask my favourite distributed hallucination engine to code for me I asked it to create a simple tool to compare rarity algorithms (Statistical Rarity, Rarity Score, and Rarity Score + “number of traits” meta trait).

TBH @objktcom just go with this, the whole community was very satisfied with the great .gallery rarity track websites that @mycodecrafting created years ago for the most popular Tezos PFP collections like @tezzardz and @OTTEZnft With this method all the big sales happened in those collections and punishing them years later is not it. We at Tezos are built different, lets keep it like that and not follow the "normals"

They used a different method of calculating rarity than I used. IMHO their method is more flawed than mine as it punishes ultra-rare traits. For this reason, I believe mine is more in line with both creator and collector behavior. The oven heads is a perfect example of this, they were both intended to be rare and are sought after/seen as rare by collectors. But I don't really want to argue over merits of different rarity algorithms. Long and short is they used a different scoring system.
The rarities of tezzards has been set for 4 years and anyone who shows up today to say they're different is probably gonna be facing an uphill battle.

The thing about yaks is there were always only ever 4 kinds of yaks but in each of those kinds of yaks there were so many and when they were not thirsty they would find themselves on top of buildings their hair would glow so hard and snow would run through the fur under their chin so fast it would cold burn the outside of their throat and make it go tender these days all the yaks enjoy themselves sitting with their legs crossed relaxed in the wind but they also run with their knees through water not sitting but standing with their face planted in so many bowls of food that they cannot leave any room because they will step on bowls as far as the eye can see
