So The 7 Deadly Sins Origin, a brand new upcoming open-world action Gacha just released into a Closed Beta Test state, and thus far, the game has been interesting. Not great, not terrible. ✔️Beautiful world that is much more reminiscent of Genshin Impact rather than Wuthering Waves or Azur Promilia. This is the most "Genshin-adjacent" Gacha game I've ever seen (not a bad thing.) ✔️Smooth combat. It's not fast or flashy, but much more weighty and targeted. Also has (I believe from what we tested) elemental reactions to some extent (we'll find out more as we continue to play.) ✔️The world is enormous, and there are numerous ways to traverse it (including flying mounts, underwater swimming etc.) ✔️Voice acting is great in Japanese. ✔️Story is actually interesting, and not all fluff. It features characters from the Anime reimagined in this world with some differences - but that helps keep things light and fresh. ✔️Very fluid cutscenes. These were beautifully captured and added so much depth and personality to the story. ✔️You can capture and train pets - still working on that right now, but it's a sick feature. ✔️Big nostalgia hit for fans of The Seven Deadly Sins Anime or Manga. ❌Character models look very much so like the Anime, but overall are really.. unsatisfying to look at? 85% of the cast look like NPCs. ❌No English voice acting at present - when every competitor, DNA, Azur Promilia, Arknights Endfield, Ananta, Neverness to Everness all have English dubs. Maybe this will be added in the future, who knows. ❌The Gacha rates were hidden, meaning you couldn't see percentages, if there was a 50/50, anything. This might be revealed at a later date, but given this is launching on January 28th, it's weird to not show the Gacha rates this close to a release. ❌The climbing was terrible. It was Genshin Impact's climbing, in a world where games like Wuthering Waves proved there are better options (wall running.) I'm sure @The_short_nurse and I will have more to say in the coming days of Beta testing, but these are day 1 thoughts. And so far? I don't foresee this being a major competitor for any of the big upcoming Gacha's. Which is fine, not every game has to be. But it definitely wants to be.

Yo @QShadowYT I know creating original content can be difficult, but ripping off content created by us and reposting it as your own content is sad AF. Content creators put in the time - hours, days, weeks, creating content, and if there's one thing we all understand, all adhere to, it's that as a CC, you don't steal from your own, or attack your own. Especially if you don't give credit. In the first image you'll see our Where Winds Meet Male Character Creation video. This was uploaded 4 months ago. In the second image, you'll see our video ripped and reuploaded without permission. This isn't transformative content. This is just stealing videos from other CCs and pretending they're yours. In the third image, you'll see our Where Winds Meet Female Character Creation segment of the same video. This was included in the Male/Female showcase as a single video. In the fourth image, you'll see our ripped and reuploaded video - as an entirely separate video, benefiting from the hard work we put in to creating them. Mrs Stix tried reaching out personally to sort this out in private - the last thing anyone wants to do is call out another content creator for something like this, but c'mon. You didn't create these videos. You don't have the right to download, and then reupload someone else's content without their permission. You never even asked, nor did you give any form of credit at all. This isn't inspiration, this isn't reacting, this is straight up theft of content. That's just depressing on so many levels. The worst part? We're not the only ones you've been taking videos from. But we are the ones merely asking you to not use our videos without credit or permission.

Seven Knights Rebirth just launched, and I've been playing it for a couple days. Is it worth playing? Here are my thoughts. Content: 4/10 - There's a decent amount to do. Story, power up dungeons, the Infinite Tower and likely more I have yet to unlock. Difficulty: 6/10 - While it's definitely relatively auto.. the difficult spikes up VERY quickly. You'll be cheesing it, then outta nowhere BAM the boss 1-shots your team. Free to Play Friendliness: 1/10 - I don't care what people say, pity at 200 is terrible. Genuinely terrible. Doesn't matter if dupes aren't worthwhile, you shouldn't need to wait 'til 200 to get the limited character. Gameplay: 5/10 - Honestly it was pretty decent. Abilities, character movements, diversity. Graphics: 6/10 - This would be higher if the ingame models looked more like their illustrations. Legit, those illustrations were gorgeous - and the graphics all-round are as well. But the ingame models are definitely the least appealing of everything on display. Sound: 4/10 - Honestly your generic fantasy soundtrack. Story: 5/10 - It was okay. Nothing great but not bad either. Reminded me of Mongil Star Dive, but without the fun humor. Voice Acting: 6/10 - Actually the voice acting was surprisingly decent. I have no complaints at all. I thought the English dub would be bad but.. it really wasn't. World: 5/10 - It was bright, vibrant and lively.... but also largely copy>pasted. There was a lot of lore due to the IP it was a part of though. Fun: 5/10 - I had fun. Despite it being a Netmarble game, I had fun. It's not a great game, but at the same time it's a perfectly fine side game. It reminded me of Eversoul, but less free to play friendly. Overall - I'd give this 47 hot Waifu's out of 100 - or 47 out of 10. It was a decent game to play through and I have no real complaints outside of the 200 pity. Fuck that.

I can't believe I'm saying it, but Kuro continue to make new patches even more thrilling and engaging than older patches. 2.6 has been absolutely incredible. Part 1 dealt with Augusta, while giving us a glimpse into the kind of person Iuno is. It showed Augusta's tragic history, her relationship with Angel, ended with an insane climax, going head to head in a 1v1 with Augusta, then joining together with Iuno sacrificing herself to make sure we all achieved victory. It was dark, it was messed up, and it definitely had moments that felt like they dragged on a little bit but it was necessary for the story and the background of the characters. Then Part 2 hit, and presented the story in an entirely different way. There was no climactic scene between Rover and x character, where we overcame some monolithic evil creature. Instead, it dealt with Iuno, her tragic history, how she has been fighting against fate alone all these years, and has now, once again, ended up.. alone. Yes she was restored, but at the same time nobody remembers her except Rover, which means every relationship needs to be rebuilt from their very foundational core. This is isolating, terrifying, and absolutely depressing, and Kuro did masterful work elaborating and highlighting all of this. Was it a happy ending for her? It was bittersweet. Far from happy. But she's alive, and she can now, finally, craft her own future. A lot of this patch was through discussion, or visuals, and it was told in a way that kept me captivated throughout the entire thing. It was beautiful. Seeing the two - Augusta and Iuno come full circle was sad but satisfying. And seeing where the game is going in 2.7 and 2.8 is going to - I believe - leave people genuinely speechless. Saying 2.6 shattered expectations would be underselling it. 2.6 has proven Kuro is a very talented at telling a multifaceted story with compelling characters and choices. Now all they need to do is find a way to consolidate the cast in a meaningful way in 2.8 to conclude Rinascita's story. Like they did in the Avengers' Assemble moment in 1.0, but y'know.. without Yuanwu standing there awkwardly while the rest of the cast stared at him not knowing who he was. 10/10. Wuthering Waves 2.6 has been absolutely incredible, and I can't wait to see how 2.7 and 2.8 somehow top it.
