The $600 problem isn't about the money; it's a red flag indicator before issues escalate. Teams should own these problems to free up leadership for bigger challenges. Your value is far more than $600 – let employees manage the small stuff. #Leadership #Delegation #ProblemSolving

@stevehunsaker1 You should talk to @MyGuyServices about this. At the Christmas Light Event this past weekend, where he spoke, he mentioned he does this for his Christmas Light business. Your business partner was there and probably has his contact. If not, let me know I’d be happy to connect.

If someone could train a ClaudeBot or some AI for me to capture the Zillow/Google Maps street view photos of our customer’s closest 5 neighbors and automatically create an AI photo with lights on the house (all automated) I’d give you a large sum of money

Pickup truck a disaster? Same here. Paid a consultant a LOT last year for the solution: matching totes from Sam's Club. Everything in its place, easy grab and go. Two totes per truck. #TruckLife #Organization

Rainy work week? Adapt! Safely work through it, front-load hours, and have a Plan B. Switch to ground jobs & keep crews healthy with extra gear and vitamins. Preparedness prevents lost revenue. #WorkSmart #TeamHealth

A mid season Christmas light update: We’re at ~$200k on the books. I’ve been selling 25k-30k/week and trying to boost that to 40-50k/week for November. As it stands it looks like we’ll land somewhere between 330k-400k for the season. I’m getting bottlenecked by acquisition which is the total opposite problem I thought I’d have. We’re spending a fuck ton on ads but CAC is high and it’s becoming increasingly difficult to get in front of quality prospects. There are a dozen other companies doing signs in a very small service area. We’re maxing out PPC, but with very low quality coming thru the door even with a lot of filtering. Enough of the bad, now for the good: We’ve increased average ticket on new installs from $2,250 last season to $2,750 this season. That’s a win. The install crew is absolutely flying and we’re keeping install labor cost to around 7-10% of revenue (not including maintenance/takedown). We’ve had a couple big ticket wins ($10k+). Things have been relatively smooth. I’m less stressed than last year and doing 2-3x the volume. I’ve spent $16,182 to return $112,249 in new installs. And that’s only on the front end. We’re coming around to the final innings and it’s time to lock the fuck in for the next 40 days. Cheers🥂

Team culture isn't just a buzzword. It's about being present, visible, and heard. When they see you in the trenches, they'll go to war for you—because they know you're fighting for them. #TeamCulture #Leadership

Understanding customer acquisition cost is key. If lead costs exceed $20, it can deplete resources, impacting profitability. A $10 lead results in a $100 client acquisition cost, a manageable 5% of a $2,000 job. #marketing #business

Instead of constantly checking bank accounts, focus on key performance indicators (KPIs) like weekly revenue, lead count, and close rate. Consistently hitting these metrics can provide a clearer picture of financial health. #financialplanning #KPIs

Instead of spending money on new leads, businesses can allocate up to $100 to win back unsatisfied clients from the previous year. Offering a discount equivalent to the cost of acquiring a new customer can be a strategic move to regain their trust and business. #businessstrategy
