The manner in which our Party colleagues, including a sitting MP and MLA, were attacked in West Bengal for serving the people affected by floods and landslides is outright appalling. It highlights the insensitivity of the TMC as well as the absolutely pathetic law and order situation in the state. I wish the West Bengal Government and TMC were more focussed on helping people rather than indulging in violence in such a challenging situation. In another shocking case of #HusbandSuicide a 34 year old Neurosurgeon at AIIMS Delhi ended his life because of matrimonial dispute with his wife. Dr. Raj Ghoniya is a resident of Rajkot in Gujarat and was posted at AIIMS Trauma Centre. He was residing in a flat at Gautam Nagar area. He ended his life by taking overdose of medicine after pasting a suicide note on the door of his flat which reads as : This is my own wish, I blame no one for this and this is nobody's fault so please do not harass anyone and please respect my wish be happy. His wife is also a Senior Resident Doctor in Sir Ganga Ram Hospital where she is posted in Microbiology Department. Now there will be no outrage by Indian Medical Association. There will not be any candle light marches now. No one will say now that Doctors are Not Safe. Ps: Suicide is never the solution.
