It’s pretty clear that if the US was ever going to be able to counter a Chinese invasion of Taiwan, Iran would become an issue because of their control of the Strait of Hormuz, their nuclear ambitions, etc. So if I were the CCP, I’d start laying the groundwork ahead of time to demoralize the US when the inevitable showdown with Iran came. How would you do that? Foster antisemitism. Place “influencers” in position to start spouting out how the US government is controlled by Israel. That a war with Iran is only is Israel’s interest. Push that message hard on TikTok and other social media platforms. Glad we’re not seeing anything like that, though.
