Diet isn’t “healthy” or “unhealthy.”
It’s either aligned with your biology or it’s not.
The same food can heal one person and harm another.
Stop guessing. Start personalizing.

It’s a fair question, and the answer sits in an important gray area.
There are very few true “universals” in nutrition. While certain behaviors like getting enough sleep, staying hydrated, and supporting a balanced diet are broadly beneficial, the way specific foods impact the body can vary significantly from person to person.
For example, fiber is widely recommended, yet some individuals may experience digestive discomfort depending on their gut microbiome composition. That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t eat fiber! It just means your intake needs to be personalized. Similarly, foods often labeled as “healthy,” such as leafy greens or fermented foods, may not produce the same benefits for everyone.
On the flip side, there are ingredients generally associated with negative health outcomes such as high levels of added sugars, trans fats, and ultra-processed foods. However, even here, individual responses and tolerances can differ.
This is why personalized nutrition matters. Instead of asking “What’s healthy for everyone?” the more useful question becomes: “What’s healthy for ME?”

Science doesn’t advance by protecting assumptions.
It advances by questioning them.
“Always question. Science advances because we challenge assumptions: including our own.”
