hi, im on the market!! are you hiring for ops/bd/pm roles in crypto or ai? read below ⬇️

Kaito ruined the timeline. tl;dr - because let’s be honest, most of you don’t want to read all of this: Kaito ruined alpha. Kaito ruined InfoFi. Kaito ruined “content”. Kaito ruined reputations. --- Kaito ruined InfoFi. The thesis of Information Finance is that the content and information you share and create is worth something. In this model, the implicit assumption is that quality content is worth more than low quality content because higher quality content naturally contains higher quality information. But what happens if you reward quantity over quality? Kaito defenders will immediately rush in to say, “wait wait wait they have an algorithm that…” Ok, let’s just look at their term “yap” for a moment. Kaito’s self prescribed term to define the points you earn for posting. They picked this term. And we should believe them when they give us hints about what they were aiming for. What's a "yap" then? Dictionary.com defines yap as: to bark sharply, shrilly, or snappishly; yelp; to talk shrilly, noisily, or foolishly. Kaito’s entire incentive model is not based on high quality. It’s based on low quality, high quantity. Shrill. Noisy. Foolish. They want you to yap. And they want you to yap often. Because they know the average time a post exists on the timeline is short, even for the most viral of posts. When you can't have longevity, you instead push for excess. And by incentivising low quality yapping, the timeline is flooded with AI slop that is just the same regurgitated word vomit that lazy airdrop farmers churn out over and over again. It’s not InfoFi. Kaito made sure of it. And as a result, they have bastardized what the value of InfoFi could have been, devolving it into something far worse. SlopFi. --- Kaito ruined Alpha. Remember when the word “alpha” used to mean something? If you’ve been around more than the last 10 months, you remember a day when “alpha” was signal. It meant that something was brewing, impact was coming, and a product was likely about to make waves. Sure, there were scams back then - you don’t have to remind me. In fact please don’t. But “alpha” meant something then. At least a whole lot more than it means now. Fast forward to the timeline post-yap-kaito-tge and the “alpha” we all see is artificial at best, dishonest at worst, and all entirely fueled by a promised life changing airdrop that would retire your entire bloodline. We all know how that story ends. And as a result, “alpha” is synonymous with scam. We cannot trust informational threads or posts because they are all "sponsored by" Kaito yaps, but no one will ever truly disclose it. Kaito bastardized alpha, turning it into a knock off version of advertisements, flooding the timeline with cheap billboards. Thanks Kaito. --- Kaito ruined “content” This is really an extension of the other points, but it’s worth a deeper dive. The issue with incentivizing content is that it creates an endless race to the bottom. Users will always default to quantity over quality, looking for the fastest, cheapest, easiest ways to earn points. As a result, ChatGPT is the real content creator in the mindshare incentives game, expediting “content” creation in a downward spiral battle for airdrop crumbs. It’s a self-eating cycle. As content quality continues to degrade, the value of the content creates less and less impact for projects. Marketers and founders feel forced to participate in the mindshare purchasing game because the social timeline tells them that if they don’t they are dead on arrival. But they spend multiple 6, 7 figures, full well knowing that the product they receive is a cheap knock off. And worse? It’s actually often the thing that makes their project DOA, and they’d have been better off reallocating their budget to real user acquisition efforts. Kaito doesn’t reward good content. Kaito rewards farmers larping as “users”, shamelessly tagging and shilling with little to no substance. No matter how you frame it, farmers are never long term users. It’s all just a game. But the only real winner is Kaito. We all end up being the losers. When content becomes the token, it dumps. @WazzCrypto put it really well, and I’ll just leave his thoughts here: x.com/WazzCrypto/sta… --- Kaito ruined reputations. Just kidding. You did that to yourselves. And shame on you. For all the time you spend building your social reputation, it’s remarkable how little you value it. You sold your voice for an airdrop of a token that probably went to zero (with your help) - not that it matters anyway, you sold it immediately because you were never a user, never believed in the project, and never had any intention other than making a few cheap bucks. You all blame corrupt founders for these mass extraction events, but do the exact same thing at a smaller scale daily, without an iota of shame. You ruined your own reputation. You sold it on the Kaito bargain shelf. --- Kaito ruined the timeline. It’s one of the greatest mass extraction events in our industry, flying right under your noses, fueled by the ignorance of the masses who are just droning on, begging for crumbs and scraps, willingly giving away their platform and sacrificing their integrity. My advice? If you're a project - don't walk away from Kaito. Run. Subscribing to their methodology is like sacrificing your future success for 15 seconds of fame. If you're actually building something of value, do the hard work of building your reputation and user base - it will be worth it. If you're a creator - stop selling your soul. Your voice and reputation are worth a whole lot more than whatever promise airdrop those yaps might bring. Once you sell your reputation, you will have one hell of a time trying to build it back. So yes, Kaito ruined the timeline. But let's be really honest. You made it all possible by buying into the scheme. Full stop.
