$SPY Bears’ best days are when the Strait opens… Trump remains the ultimate threat to shorts. Headline risk has never been higher with Iran tensions. Shorts are still carrying PTSD from the last mega-rally — constantly looking over their shoulder for the next Trump tweet that sends this market ripping higher. Welcome to life under Trump 2.0. Are we any closer to ending the war than last week? Doubt it. The market is never wrong — early and naive at times, but never wrong. Hit my 741 target cleanly. Now eyeing 742.65 into the close. Staying mostly on the sidelines until NVDA earnings. Even then, only tactical short swings. Trump’s willingness to manipulate is simply too real.

$SPY Shorts need to be careful here… never a straight line in either direction. This is the exact opposite setup to NVDA that typically triggers “sell the news” — which signals likely one more leg up before the roll. SPX 7300 put wall will be strong support. Eyeing SPY 740-741 retracement for short entry.

$SPY — Market fearless even as yields push higher into dangerous territory. -.75% isn’t serous selling on below avg volume; feels more like derisking/profit taking. Couldn’t take out 7300; 2 gaps above. Just not impressed with progress of 3 red days in row. Heading into FOMC minutes + NVDA earnings on weakness is bad setup for shorts. Any positive surprise or Trump headline and we squeeze. Trump has zero tolerance for yields continuing to climb. I suspect an attempt to hammer them down is coming. This feels like bear trap before the roll to thin positioning underneath. Market tends to burn shorts in these scenarios. R:R sucks until NVDA passes IMO then we can roll.
