My 3rd grade 🎯Ss are learning about codes. They created their own scytale cipher. #lovetothinkhere @Acworth_ES

Today my 5th grade 🎯Ss learned about principal, interest & compound interest. They worked on calculating compound interest over a 3 year period. Calculating $ amount for different interest rates surprised them at the growth rate of money! #lovetothinkhere @CobbAlp @Acworth_ES

We focused on encouragement so the students were writing something positive about each of their classmates. Once they finished & read what everyone had written, they were so excited. They asked if we could do this activity again this year. #lovetothinkhere @CobbAlp @Acworth_ES

As a reward for earring money for the Fun Run, students taped Mr. Torralba to the wall. I think he had more fun than them! 😁 @Acworth_ES @EmanuelTorralba @Team_AcworthES

3rd grade 🎯 students working to open a Breakout Box to start our unit. They said it was challenging and fun. I was so proud of how they collaborated. They asked when they get to do another one! #lovetothinkhere @CobbAlp @Team_AcworthES

4th grade 🎯 started the Survivor unit today. They are really excited about it! They were also surprised when they realized the different types of survivors there could be!! It made for some really fantastic discussion! #lovetothinkhere @CobbAlp @Acworth_ES

Our students earned $5,000 for the Fun Run so today our admin served lunch for the students. The students loved it! We have the best admin team! @Acworth_ES @Team_AcworthES @EmanuelTorralba
