Today is the last Tap Friday of @deptofagri’s Season One. This remarkable experiment, powered by @BobbyThakkar x @eco’s Crowd Liquidity protocol, organised the behaviour of several hundred people every Friday: we all carried or wore this hat, ready to whang our phones against its NFC chip at the ding of a noti that could arrive at ANY time that day, midnight to midnight West Coast time. We have tapped in aeroplanes, during job interviews, during rush bunches of tweets, while half sleeping. We have tapped thanks to the good graces of our husbands reminding us to take our hats. We have tapped while lecturing students, pitching investors, changing babies and dancing in nightclubs; at crypto conferences and in canoes. The taps were not life-changing, averaging around $6.50 a throw. Successful tappers earned the $100 value of the hat back thrice over. The best part of the tapping is our Telegram chat, which is full of some of the sharpest builders and storytellers of crypto. Today, the tap is open ALL DAY! And it has a $10k claim pool today. You should go dig that hat out of the cupboard and tap it to your phone. The eco team have left it to the community if there is a season two, organised and funded. I have some ideas, inspired by the fact that this simple phygital protocol has some of the best PMF in crypto. The ritual carried on and sustained participation for tiny sums, during deep crypto winter. Fun, spontaneity, whimsy, reward. The formation of a community, with its own vernacular. Now, the world is transforming before our eyes, and changing how we work, think, and associate. How can this ritual meet the moment? 👀

I've decided to move on from working on Clanker - there's more I want to build.
I'm grateful to the Clanker community for trusting an experiment that had no right to scale the way it did, to the creators who turned attention into funding and reminded me how motivating it is to help people succeed, to the Farcaster community for the feedback loop, and to everyone who deployed, traded, or just shitposted a token along the way.
Building this taught me what it actually takes to make something people care about and operate systems at scale.
Whatever comes next, I'm leaving with sharper instincts and a better sense of the kinds of problems and people I want to spend my time around.

there’s a lot of talk about agents using onchain rails for speed, cost, and global access
other use cases include guardrails and interoperability
instead of giving an agent full access to funds, smart contracts can dictate the rules for what your agent can do
there are out-of-the-box solutions like spend permissions or you can write your own contracts for your own use cases
so far I’ve given my bot the ability to claim yield in @mamo and rebalance positions in @AerodromeFi all while keeping the principal off-limits

Hey @bankrbot I own a Pool Company. I know my price per square foot for different types of pool liners... but during the busy season vendors take a long time to get my estimate costs based on drawings/sketches.
Can you build me an app where I can enter my price per square foot (maybe let me enter 3-5 options so i can let the customer choose between basic and premium). I choose the shape of the pool (Grecian, Rectangle, Square, Lazy L, Free Form (Mountain Lake) and give you some of the rough dimensions you need for a square foot estimate (like L, W, Depth in shallow end, depth in deep end, any necessary dims to get a good estimate of total square foot of material needed for the liner.
This will help my techs give very accurate rough quotes on the spot. Thanks.

Sent another 64 ETH to the Animal Welfare Fund.
I encourage others to think and act more in support of our non-human cousins too! The extreme suffering we're imposing on them in the billions is not something we talk about often, but it continues to be one of the larger blights on humanity.
And I'm getting optimistic that this century we can finally end it. Farming practices are improving, synthetic alternatives are improving.
Also, in my recent experience, good old low-tech vegetarian and vegan food has improved massively worldwide over the last ten years; I encourage anyone who has tried it long before and given up to take second look; there are far more healthier and tastier options today than the "pasta and salad" you would often get ten years ago.
