After 2 years of becoming the top agent launcher on Base, this is what happened to $CLANKER: > Got acquired twice. First Farcaster bought Clanker, then Neynar bought Farcaster. > Their biggest agent, @bankrbot, split off to build its own launcher. Now it has built an ecosystem with 4x their volume. > Former co-founder @_proxystudio forked and launched a new platform called @liquid_launcher and now he's performing his yap skill in 2 recent days. > Their lead architect and remaining co-founder @JackDishman also just announced his departure. The problem with Clanker isn’t the tech. Their launcher contracts are probably the best in the market right now. Their business depends on trading volume, which means they need to create as many runners as possible and push for maximum volume. What they’re missing is a strong ops team (yappers) that truly understands the trenches and knows what trench users actually want. Now the real question is: what does Clanker still have left, and how can it keep growing? That’s a difficult problem for @rish_neynar to solve.

I've decided to move on from working on Clanker - there's more I want to build. I'm grateful to the Clanker community for trusting an experiment that had no right to scale the way it did, to the creators who turned attention into funding and reminded me how motivating it is to help people succeed, to the Farcaster community for the feedback loop, and to everyone who deployed, traded, or just shitposted a token along the way. Building this taught me what it actually takes to make something people care about and operate systems at scale. Whatever comes next, I'm leaving with sharper instincts and a better sense of the kinds of problems and people I want to spend my time around.

I can ask edit to double check this but according to the faircaster dashboard bankr made 15 eth in fees, TODAY. sharing data that says 8.78 eth in fees over 36 days is more than what bankr makes without stopping to think twice about the data youre sharing is embarrassing. and of course we dont count the bnkr token fees.
