@khazarAntlers What's the point with being negative? Flygon is pretty cool
English

Is mega evolution the only thing flygon fans talk about
Also flygon is anything but "one of the coolest designs"
shotgun@shotguncaio
Still can’t believe Flygon never got a Mega Evolution. One of the coolest designs in Pokémon and it just got left behind. Truly the Mega we deserved.

@lordbossmann @NASA Can't see Antarctica
English

@PKMN_twt At least they are getting more into the idea of making pokemon look more unique with different ages and shapes like chubby Lycanroc

@Ludobet1 @Oh_boy_3_AM_ @BasedRPG Casting him as Snape is a bad idea, independent of what shithead racists think. It's only going to create a lot of drama. They should have cast a black actor for Harry instead.
English

@Myrdin90 @Oh_boy_3_AM_ @BasedRPG They casted him because they chose to NOT bow to the freaking morons

@JackSto75339183 @MDH_UAR @GigaBasedDad Our wisdom teeth are a sign of evolution, we're in the process of losing them because our jaws are getting smaller (between generations, not individuals) (between dozens of generations, not 2-3)
English

@MDH_UAR @GigaBasedDad Evolution is believed by faith..none of it can be proven
English

@AntiCapmoves @Alcalensis @GigaBasedDad You don't understand the first thing about evolution. Your allegory doesn't work at all
English

@Alcalensis @JackSto75339183 @GigaBasedDad False. Bones simply demonstrate an animal existed, nothing more. By saying b/c similarities exist between animals that means one came from the other is a philosophical position. That’s like saying b/c a nissan looks like a honda that means the honda literally came from the nissan

That mesmerizing Paprika clip pulls you straight into Satoshi Kon's fever dream masterpiece, where the elderly regal figure's haunting "Do you remember me now?" echoes with playful menace amid swirling dolls and shattering realities.
It leaves your heart racing with whimsical wonder and a delicious shiver of psychological thrill, proving why this 2006 gem still feels like the wildest ride through the subconscious.
English

@Myrdin90 You're not wrong in the facts. I also described a possible situation - what you're wrong about is the implication of those facts. Just because there's a possibility we're mundane it doesn't mean we are, and betting on it is folly.
English

Show me one. A single one.
You can't because there isn't any, the most you can do is blabber about cosmic scale probabilities. There's also a probability that right as you're reading this a Boltzmann construct of me suddenly materializes in front of you from vacuum fluctuations, farts in your face, throws a peace sign and dematerializes with only the smell remaining.
Isn't that amazing?
lowkey🐀@Myrdin90
@SashSoulsmith @SandyofCthulhu What? I'm unsure what point you're trying to make. In a cosmic sense we are not special. The Earth is special to us because we live here, but there is nothing remarkable about it. There are billions of other planets like ours out there in the universe. Isn't that amazing
English

@slidewinding @BadMedicalTakes From what I've heard that works in 80-90% of skulls, but not all.
But race? I don't know about that. That does sound a lot like phrenology to me
English

@Myrdin90 @BadMedicalTakes Hence why I mentioned the jaw and muscle attachments, paleontologists takes various measurements in multiple places on a skull.
And they can fairly well determine the gender, age and possible race as we see with sculpted facial recreations (ie: art+science) of unknown persons.
English

English

@Myrdin90 @SandyofCthulhu "we are not special, this planet is not special"
I'd tell you that you can leave Earth if you don't like it so much, but we're so special that such a statement can only be interpreted as a call to suicide which breaks TOS. So just think about that.

Yes the biology one is hilarious. "Horseshoe Crabs are one of the oldest lineages". Friend, your lineage is as old as theirs. You had ancestors alive when the first horseshoe crab bled its bright blue blood into the sea as an orthocone ate it. It's just that HUMAN ancestors kept changing over time.
We went from the left image to the right image. Horseshoe crabs just stayed where they were.
