@Nycteriis If you want a solid start, Obsession. That movie was really amazing. It confronts patriarchy and how society treats women in general.

@MyriadMuses Oh, I haven't seen it yet. It's funny how the titles are so similar, isn't it? I wonder if it's because they have a similar premise or if it's just a coincidence. Now you've made me curious... and I'm stuck trying to decide whether I should watch Obsession first or In My Skin.

@cheeztachio @natanattda Maaf tapi itu udah ketinggalan zaman, Kak. Saran saya mending ganti laptop aja kalau ada budget-nya. Radeon Vega 8 udah rada nggak ngangkat kecuali cuma buat daily tasks yang nggak berat aja.

@MyriadMuses @natanattda Ryzen 5 3500u kalo nggak salah, graphic cards radeon vega (aku gatau seri brp) soalnya aku liat di task manager tuh bagian memory bisa makan 80%-an gt sih.. apa wajar ya?

@cheeztachio @natanattda Maaf jb juga, Kak, tapi ini Ryzen 5-nya yang seri berapa? Terus graphic cards-nya apa? Kemarin laptop saya juga keluaran 2019 dan sudah di-upgrade ini itu (RAM 8 4x2 + 1 TB SSD) tapi memang sudah nggak keangkat lagi dari processor-nya, jadi beli baru.

@natanattda Kak maaf jbjb, mending upgrade ram ga ya, laptopku keluaran tahun 2019, prosessor ryzen 5, ram 8 gb (4x2) tp kemakan grafik 2 gb, jd berasa 6 gb, aku udh upgrade sistem pke ssd 256 gb (sbelumnya 512 gb hdd), sebaiknya aku upgrade ram jadi 12 gb atau gausah?

@Nycteriis That is very interesting indeed. It sort of reminds me of In My Skin, have you watched it? It’s one of the absolute best body horror movies for me. The plot was meh, but the body horror was immaculate enough to leave a remarkable impression in me.

@MyriadMuses I'll watch it asap and let you know what I think. As for The Skin I Live In (2011), it's honestly one of those movies that sticks with you (I guess). The twist is so well done, and since you seem to like sci-fi, it's a really unique mix of body horror and sci-fi.

@Gratkinds That sounds awful, unless you like the fact that you can spend some hours late before you sleep. My case is a bit similar to yours, however mine was just an hour of nap and I woke up really late yesterday.

@MyriadMuses @munfolk I was taking a long nap and just woke up at 5 PM, so now I'm hardly finding my sleepiness. Kamu kenapa tuh belum tidur?

@Nycteriis You really should watch it. Ah, no, I haven't, but I've looked it up and the premise looks very interesting. I just added it to my watchlist now.

@MyriadMuses @munfolk You've got great taste too. I never got around to watching it. Hearing you say it's that good definitely bumped it up on my watchlist. Speaking of body horror, the first film that always comes to mind is The Skin I Live In (2011). Have you watched it?
