@vtSnoww fun trick if you've struggled to get requests fulfilled in the past, explain in terms of "costs" ahaha. so long as finance can see that the small expense will save them more money elsewhere they are typically pretty good to fulfil them.

@vtSnoww honestly the only thing left for you at that point is to double check the state of your tools and see if you can put in a request for missing/old/broken ones that could help with various odd jobs. some jobs really are literally just 'do task' and not 'grind until the last second'

This is literally my situation as a maintenance guy, I clock in, I do whats asked of me for my job. I get it done in about 2-3 hours depending on how things are. I still have 2 hours left in my shift What do I do after that when theres nothing else to do???
