@KarlSeed29 @lancscricket @LancsCricketWMN It's nothing to do with the lack of promoting, it's the fact the club moved the timings due to the AGM. Seen numerous comments stating would have come for both of they were closer together.

If @lancscricket spent more time promoting other games and not fixating on a Roses match 6 weeks away, might have a busier crowd than this on a Bank Holiday Double Header! Feel for the @LancsCricketWMN players here, perfect day and it’s practically dead!

@claretcrumpet @TheBurnleyWay This summer will tell me whether we have learned anything. If its a few outgoings with a few quality signings to replace them, it'll feel like we've turned a corner. If half the squad leave, then we are back to failing.

@TheBurnleyWay Agree about the core. I guess the question is, who are we losing? I think this is the tough question. Lots just say Flemm, Hannibal & Steve. We’ve got way more assets than that, but many of them remain part of that core…players like Anthony, Edwards: the players that got us up!

A summer of churn with lots leaving #twitterclarets ahead! My view: the RECRUITMENT must change: Much smaller squad Fewer but better players, all with a first 11 pathway Might cost a little more per player but higher output potential A few cheap rough diamonds gambles UTC

At some point, they will have to play the audio of the decision-making process live, the communication between referee and VAR. IFAB against, though. But why shouldn’t match-goers - who fund the game - and viewers - who fund the game - know exactly what’s going on in the game? It would increase transparency for a start. It would engage fans (maybe enrage) rather than keeping them fiddling their thumbs, impatient for a decision. It works in rugby union (TMO) and cricket (DRS) - admittedly sports with different rhythms and volatility in responses. It might put additional pressure on officials, but it’s a mess currently and fans deserve a more transparent process.

@IdleandWild I was surprised by just how many seats were empty on Sunday. I thought that after sacking Parker some might return seeing as that’s what was wanted.

@IdleandWild Ever since these guys took over, I haven't trusted the finances would keep us stable in the Championship. It feels like Prem or bust every season and I'm so bored of the Prem now I'd be quite content with a few seasons of Championship.

Can’t say I felt much at all when the Parker news broke. He’s been dead man walking for far too long now and a huge disconnect with fans for club to resolve. Timing of the accounts also raises eyebrows, given today’s news. All a bit dispiriting, really.

This does feel like a classic Burnley appointment. Ex-Premier League player with a name attached. Like with Parker, he’ll have a squad of players far too good for the Championship so will go up. Sky will rave about how good he is. He’ll then have a squad of players miles off Premier League quality and will finish either 19th or bottom. He’ll then be sacked (like Parker) and people will question if he can hack it. You can predict this like the sun coming up tomorrow. #Burnleyfc

@OfficialVizeh VAR, ridiculous KO times, Subs benches at the top teams full of players who would get into a lot of the other first 11's. Non-risk boring football.
