Q1 2025 Recap: A Strong Start Looking back at the first quarter of 2025, the Mythos ecosystem has hit key milestones showing it's a leading force in Web3 gaming. Indicators like wallet activity, holder count, and transaction volume reflect that players are arriving, engaging, and staying. You can’t sustain such numbers through hype-controlled narratives. They’re the result of a growing ecosystem that’s prioritizing player experience and long-term engagement over short-term speculation. Metrics like holder count and sales volume all point in the same direction, and make it clear what’s gaining real traction. A Look at Marketplace Flows One of the strongest indicators of any economy is how its participants interact with the market, which in this case is the in-game marketplace for NFL Rivals. In Q1, marketplace inflows consistently outpaced outflows, signaling that more players are buying/depositing MYTH into their marketplace account wallets than taking it out. Marketplace net flow is the net balances accumulating into player wallets to be used in the Marketplace. It increased from approximately 2.8M MYTH at the end of Q4 2024 to about 3.5M MYTH at the end of Q1 2025. That’s a leap in net marketplace flow quarter-over-quarter. It's a sign of the marketplace’s growing retention power over time, and you could call it a touchdown for long-term engagement. 6.4M+ Holders and Growing Mythos added over 300,000 new token holders in Q1 2025, pushing the total close to 6.4 million. Reaching these numbers in a quarter shaped by market uncertainty and global tension is impressive on its own. What's even more important is that most holders are actively involved in NFL Rivals or the wider ecosystem, not just sitting around waiting for an airdrop. With FIFA Rivals and Pudgy Party launching later this year, the holder count is expected to rise by multiples. The goal is to provide a smooth experience for the next 100M players and empower them to be true stakeholders of the experiences. Strong Activity on-Chain In just the first quarter of 2025, Mythos has already matched over 80% of its total transaction volume from all of 2024. It continues to dominate as the number one chain for NFT transactions, easily beating legacy networks like Ethereum and Solana, with an average of 50,000 NFT transactions per day. The low average asset price makes it possible for millions of players to buy, sell, and trade items every day. When FIFA Rivals launches, we expect activity to shoot even higher. During the last World Cup, FIFA Mobile recorded over 85 million daily players. The global player base is huge, and onboarding them to Web3 will be one of the biggest opportunities to show mainstream what’s possible with the next generation of games. Leading NFTs with Volume Speaking of volume, the sales volume on Mythos Chain has shown remarkable growth. In March 2025 alone, NFT sales volume on Mythos reached an ATH $43.5 million. This places Mythos as the fourth-largest blockchain by NFT sales volume after Ethereum, Bitcoin, and Solana. Mythos, in March, also hit a new all-time high in daily volume, reaching $4.5 million. Burn Rate and Deflationary Mechanics In a little over a month, more than 1 million MYTH have been burned through transaction fees. This shift comes from the community-approved MIP (Mythos Improvement Proposal), which introduced a new token economy, including staking and gas fee burning. Rather than relying on inflationary emissions, this proposal ensures that increased on-chain activity directly reduces token supply. As games like NFL Rivals continue to drive high daily activity, the burn rate is expected to keep rising, and this will only be amplified further by the upcoming titles. The Q1 stats paints a solid picture of what to look forward to for the rest of the year. Backed by the infrastructure upgrades of Polkadot and top tier collaborations, Mythos is all set to accelerate, take these numbers higher, and continue delivering the best Web3 experiences.
