This is a bad time for our investments in S&Box, as reviews aren’t improving, there are few players, and top developers have no incentive to switch to this game engine.
All items that were up 300–400% are now in the red; very few are at zero, and only the very first items from 2024–2025 are showing a healthy profit, as whales are holding them in large quantities.
The massive FOMO in April led to a sharp market downturn. Current items (those from 7 days ago and earlier) will show good growth, as there will be few of them (I hope), so you know what I’ll be buying

I am deeply convinced that the engine’s full potential will only be realized and that it will be able to compete with Roblox and Fortnite’s Creative mode in 1–2 years. For now, we need to be prepared for the worst-case scenario: namely, that there will be no more than 10,000-15,000 users in the first few days and revenue will drop. I really like Facepunch’s transparent financial statistics, which show impressive numbers, but we need to attract creators not just through hype, but through creativity. Recent updates mentioned that there will be contests with cash prizes for creating playgrounds under certain conditions; now we just need those contests to happen frequently.
Right now, earnings depend solely on the community and investors’ interest in buying cosmetics and trading them on Steam’s Marketplace, since Harry is abandoning the concept of in-place transactions and replacing it with a future release of the place itself on Steam as a standalone game. Here, they’re already focusing on exclusivity and rewarding people for the quality of the game they’ve made
All new features must, one way or another, stand the test of time, so it’s pointless to discuss or criticize such a system right now. In a few months, we’ll see the results for ourselves in the financial statistics anyway. Sooner or later, people move from one industry to another for new experiences, and as far as I’m concerned, S&Box will be a good option after development on Roblox and Fort’s TP. Especially since they have sufficient restrictions there in the form of: age restrictions, censorship, payouts, etc. Therefore, creators must either realize on their own that this is a good project, or the project itself must demonstrate that creators can do a lot
Accordingly, I’ll be buying items that drop and cost less than 10k supply. Right now, we need to keep an eye on the drop that’s about to hit its limit, specifically the Lucky Bastard Helmet and the Mafia set (I’m pretty sure the shoes were the most snapped up). And I honestly don’t understand people who ask why buy cosmetics when you can make your own mods or join a server with a selection of clothes. I can answer like this: why do you buy skins in CS or other games if there are custom servers and skin changers? That’s all from me.

New post: anthropic.com/news/claude-op…
1) The price is the same
2) We’ve implemented granular control over the length of responses, similar to ChatGPT
3) Fast mode, which speeds up generation by 2.5 times, is now 3 times cheaper than for previous models. It used to be 6 times more expensive; now it’s 2 times you should definitely get it.
4) “One of the most notable improvements in Opus 4.8 is its honesty” the model will lie less (probably)
5) “We plan to release a new class of models with an even higher level of intelligence than Opus” we’re expecting them “in the coming weeks”

It seems we’re gradually moving beyond an era where AI is just a “smart chatbot.”
At I/O 2026, Google didn’t just unveil the new Gemini - it showed us a new direction: AI is becoming a full-fledged ecosystem.
It used to be simple: open a chat, type a query, get an answer.
Now, AI is increasingly becoming a work environment: it helps search for information, write code, create content, analyze data, and perform tasks through agents.
Antigravity is no longer just an IDE, but an attempt to create an environment where developers work alongside AI agents. Gemini Omni is moving us toward multimodality, where text, images, audio, and video are combined into a single process. AI Agents demonstrate that AI is gradually transforming not into a tool, but into a mini-team for specific tasks.
For the average user, this means less routine work. For developers, it means a faster path from idea to prototype. For businesses, it means the ability to automate processes that previously required several specialists.
But there is an important point: the more powerful AI becomes, the more important it is for humans to be able to set tasks correctly and verify the results. Simply “using a neural network” will no longer be enough. The winners will be those who learn to integrate AI into real-world processes: code, content, analytics, sales, design, and training.

The cursor and anti-gravity features are awkward to use. Claude is expensive and hits the limits during peak hours, so the top-tier codex is the way to go. It has higher limits and a better price. Sometimes it even gets updated several times a week for no particular reason. If you're going to write about code efficiency, go study the math

Anthropic has released a new plugin for Claude Code that will check code for vulnerabilities directly while editing
Essentially, it’s a security hook that triggers when files are saved or edited. The goal is to catch some issues before they reach a pull request, and Anthropic reports that the plugin actually reduces the number of issues found during the final review by up to 40%.
In addition to catching obvious vulnerabilities, the plugin can also flag unsafe coding patterns in general and ensures that agents do not tamper with sensitive files.
Available to all users for free. Installation command:
/plugin install security-guidance@anthropics-claude-code

I recorded a quick interview with one of s&box’s biggest investors—Francis. His inventory includes some of the rarest Tattoo skins and the largest number of items such as: Fisherman Cap, Reindeer Head 2025, Gumball Machine, Skull Helmet, and Banana Slippers (hope I didn’t miss anything)
I was pleased that he agreed to answer my questions and shed some light on his perspective on this game.
Myth: I don’t think it’s any secret to the s&box community that you’re a well-known figure and have the best collection. Tell us, how long have you been buying these items, and what are your plans for the future?
Francis: I started investing in these items when I saw the potential of the 2025 Easter Collection. I hope the game attracts more developers, because we really need them right now to ensure a great release and continued success.
Myth: Have you ever thought that at some point the game might turn out to be “unpolished,” and items wouldn’t sell as well as they do now? Or even that it might not be released for several years and the developers won’t finish it?
Francis: I’ve been following this game for almost 7 years. I was sure it would happen either this year or next, and I’d have the funds to keep buying items and supporting it. It didn’t really bother me.
Myth: You’ve been following the game for 7 years and only started buying items in 2025?
Francis: Yes, the release of cosmetics didn’t start until late 2024; I wasn’t sure about the items until 2025.
Myth: It seems to me that most top investors are now “competing” with each other by showing off their valuable items and how many they have. What do you think about that? Did you plan to become a successful investor in this game?
Francis: I didn’t plan on this at first; I just wanted to buy some items because I thought it was a good investment. I didn’t realize there were so few of us. I don’t think any of the top 10 are actually competing with each other.
Myth: Is this the first Steam game you’ve invested in? Or do you already have experience investing in this genre?
Francis: I had a large stockpile of CS:GO items, and I sold them when prices in CS2 skyrocketed. I invest in many different markets besides Steam.
Myth: Finally, I want to ask: aren’t you afraid that people will start selling off all their items after the 28th?
Francis: I’m not afraid; I’ll keep doing what I’m doing now—trading. If anyone needs something, let them send reasonable offers. I won’t be selling anything specific, just a few items in exchange. I have enough money as it is, haha. Ultimately, the cosmetic item market is designed to keep the game afloat for many years, so I think I’ll make more money in the long run.

The numbers turned out worse than I had anticipated. The sheer volume of negative reviews and the sell-off of in-game items certainly took their toll. Facepunch has always struggled with server issues at game launches (especially with *Rust*), but in the past, everything eventually got fixed and ironed out.
I’ve just spent some time looking through and reading a fair amount of negative commentary directed at *s&box*—ranging from claims that it’s a "pathetic imitation of Roblox" to a "shameful rip-off of GMod." All of this criticism ultimately boiled down to the monetization model: specifically, the negative impact of limited-edition items and the decision to disable in-game transactions that would have put money directly into developers' pockets. I covered this in detail in my previous post, but I’ll add a few more points here.
In sandbox games like this, "brain-rot" maps—or RP servers—really do play a massive role. And historically, those are precisely the types of experiences that generated the most revenue. But that is exactly why Garry has chosen to pivot toward exclusivity, taking steps to integrate AI (and not just for "AI slop") and to foster high-quality maps featuring well-thought-out, engaging mechanics. It all boils down to this: the game simply needs time and further development to demonstrate just how far superior the Source 2 engine truly is compared to its competitors.
Regarding in-game items: there are currently some solid entry points for many assets—especially those priced under $8,000. Additionally, new items for the in-game shop have already been teased. My objective assessment will ultimately depend on the pricing; for now, all I can say is that the "Dummy" and the sneakers look pretty cool.
P.S. From what I understand, the "Fanny Pack" is going to cost $1.49.
UPD: T-shirts have been distributed to beta testers—congrats to everyone! It’s nice to finally get *something* in return for the cash we invested in the project's potential.
